I am ecstatic to finally understand that it was the ordinances/decress of the law of Moses, consisting of the civil, social, & ceremonial laws unique to the Jewish nation that was nailed to the cross with Jesus Christ. I always previously felt that Paul's statement in Colossians 2:16 was so confusing and misleading to me as a Sabbath keeper. Interesting and uplifting discussion. When interpreting a challenging Bible passage, it is helpful to refer to another text or texts where a key word or phrase also appears. For instance, in regard to 7 as a number denoting perfection, this can be traced back to the creation week of Genesis 1:1-2:3; so it is not surprising to find this usage of 7 denoting perfection in the 7 churches of Revelation 2 & 3, & elsewhere. Likewise, the number 12 can be traced back to the 12 tribes of Israel; forward to the 12 apostles of the Lamb; and also occurs symbolically in Revelation 7, where the 12 tribes of spiritual Israel are the basis of the 144000. Therefore, in regard to the 24 Elders of Revelation 4 & 5, we would want to relate this, ideally, to a passage in Scripture where the number 24 occurs, or at least to multiples of 12. As it so happens, there is a passage in Scripture, interestingly, 1 Chronicles 24:1-31, with particular reference to verses 5-19, where, in the NKJV, we encounter the number 24 in verse 18, not as a cardinal number, but as an ordinal number. The Chronicler does not systematically number all of his lists, as he does in Chapter 24, where he numbers the 24 courses of the Levical priesthood, from first to twenty-fourth, as "divided by lot" (1 Chronicles 24:5). The Chronicler also specifies that it was King David who presided over the organization of the Aaronic priesthood into 24 divisions (1 Chronicles 24:3, 31). Then this would mean the reason for the ceremonial law/old covenant being abolished was they were pointing to Jesus' death for human sins. That's why it was abolished at the cross. The moral law/10 commandments are eternal because they are God's character.
There is a judgment for the righteous that goes on right now during ones life, sin going in Sanctuary before hand. Then there is the judgment of the lost in the 1000 years after the first resurrection , their sin come after and are known and judged by the righteous redeemed.
I can imagine one reason why James Rafferty may have parted company with Secret Unsealed led by Pastor Bohr. That reason may be attached to two different perspective of the 24 Elders.🤔

Under the Mosaic Law, God’s people were required to commemorate these special occasions. Some were claiming that all Christians must continue to observe these occasions, but Paul urged them to disregard such claims. Lazarus didnt die he slept. The only time i believe he was mentioned of again was at a feast where Jesus was. He was being an example to us that we shall not all die but we who live in Christ shall sleep. He must be sleeping again

The bible states that women are not to be teachers. Elders, Deacons. Paul even said that women should remain silent. The bible does have examples where women were prophets and one example where a woman was a judge. No examples of women Elders or Deacons in the church.If the bible doesn’t mean what is says in this case where else is the bible in error?
@@patricenembhard3755 I have looked at it in context, and this is how I arrive at the fact the only men were placed in leadership roles all throughout the Bible. One woman was a judge and two others were prophets but none ordained to a leadership position over men within the church. The only woman king was one who usurped the throne. the Bible states that a bishop or Elder is to be a husband of one wife. Paul also say that he "suffers not a woman to even speak" I think we have allowed culture to infiltrate our decision making rather than the word of God and His Holy Spirit. Those who take liberties with God's word will be held accountable. The world church rejected woman's ordination so they pushed it though locally. I feel sad that we have been infiltrated by error.

If Paul says women are not even to speak and if Paul is wrong to say this why did God allow it to be put into the Bible. Surely God knew we would read it in this day and age and apply it. In my opinion it is best to stick to scripture rather than take liberties with it. the Bible is the inspired word of God and if God says it, then I want to obey it.

Male and female are in animals and plants. God is a God of order. The Bible is male dominant. The Hebrew Bible says Ruach Elohim, which is masculine and feminine. @marjorie cadanilla I've been a Seventh-day Adventist all my life. And I've traveled the world for 30+ years as a flight attendant. I know how male dominant this world is, but that is NOT the realm of God. God is not complex, man is. That's why Jesus had to come. If you read Matthew, you'll understand that when the Phaisees and Sadducces invented things and traditions that God Himself never said. Somebody in the Godhead is a reflection of female nature, and it's not the Father or the Son. The Holy Spirit is non descriptive. God created us with a marvelous brain, but we fail to use it. We allow others to tell us what they think verses what God said.

Lazarus didnt die he slept. The only time i believe he was mentioned of again was at a feast where Jesus was. He was being an example to us that we shall not all die but we who live in Christ shall sleep. He must be sleeping again

The bible states that women are not to be teachers. Elders, Deacons. Paul even said that women should remain silent. The bible does have examples where women were prophets and one example where a woman was a judge. No examples of women Elders or Deacons in the church.If the bible doesn’t mean what is says in this case where else is the bible in error?
You have to look at this in its context.
@@patricenembhard3755 I have looked at it in context, and this is how I arrive at the fact the only men were placed in leadership roles all throughout the Bible. One woman was a judge and two others were prophets but none ordained to a leadership position over men within the church. The only woman king was one who usurped the throne. the Bible states that a bishop or Elder is to be a husband of one wife. Paul also say that he "suffers not a woman to even speak" I think we have allowed culture to infiltrate our decision making rather than the word of God and His Holy Spirit. Those who take liberties with God's word will be held accountable. The world church rejected woman's ordination so they pushed it though locally. I feel sad that we have been infiltrated by error.
@@BEvans7 i agree with u on the part about elders and ordination but the part i was referring to is the part about not allowing women to speak. I believe the women were controversial back then in that particular context that Paul was talking. 3
@@patricenembhard3755 I am a new Adventist. I was told Adventist only use the Bible for truth. If Paul says women are not even to speak and if Paul is wrong to say this why did God allow it to be put into the Bible. Surely God knew we would read it in this day and age and apply it. In my opinion it is best to stick to scripture rather than take liberties with it. the Bible is the inspired word of God and if God says it, then I want to obey it.

I respectfully disagree with you on the 24 elders of REV 4.These are the same sons of God in the book of JOB When Satan presented himself. The sons of God are the representatives of the unfalen worlds and Satan was there because he was representing earth after Adam gave over ridership to him. IN REV 4 JESUS is absent so it can't be the resurrected saints because they can't enter heaven without Christ. Please read (TO MY Father AND YOUR FATHER )in the Desire Of Ages page 834.

@Three Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) That's not answering my question. Those are opinions. Based on the Bible, God made us after the Godhead their image, our image, their Likeness, our Likeness. Male and female are in animals and plants. God is a God of order. The Bible is male dominant. The Hebrew Bible says Ruach Elohim, which is masculine and feminine. That should have been your answer and not continual videos.

@marjorie cadanilla I've been a Seventh-day Adventist all my life. And I've traveled the world for 30+ years as a flight attendant. I know how male dominant this world is, but that is NOT the realm of God. God is not complex, man is. That's why Jesus had to come. If you read Matthew, you'll understand that when the Phaisees and Sadducces invented things and traditions that God Himself never said. Somebody in the Godhead is a reflection of female nature, and it's not the Father or the Son. The Holy Spirit is non descriptive. God created us with a marvelous brain, but we fail to use it. We allow others to tell us what they think verses what God said.
