When you realize enough time has passed where 90s stuff starts feeling really iconic kind of like the 80s. Of course the 80s is still the 80s, but you know what I mean?
It's a 30ish year cycle, when enough time passes that things become "classic" and kids who grew up in an era are in their creativity and influence primes. The 1950s inspired the likes of Grease and Back To The Future, disco beats crept back into new pop songs approaching 2010, the 1980s were all over the 2010s, and now the 1990s have risen to the fore. The big change to culture is that things no longer fade away as they did decade to decade in the 20th century, so now when past decades have their nostalgia relapse they don't fully leave again. Aspects of 1980s culture are here to stay, and likely the same for the 1990s. It's making culture quite the remarkable blend!

At this point I have to applaud you just for actually using all 90s songs. So many "90s dance medleys" include 80s or 2000s songs.
