Im really considering getting one of these kits, but something that im a little unsure of... You mention the CLR, is that just a 2k2 resistor? I've read the build guides and they refer to not solder the CLR on to the main PCB and to solder it next to the LED on the daughterboard, but I can't find any mention of it on the part list? How is it different from any of the resistors on the guide list?
Very handy video as just doing my first Fuzz Dog build. When using the daughter board for the foot switch does it matter which way it goes on to the pcb?
@@ac30helix44 Would still be nice to hear it in action after watching this! Also thanks for this video, I've just ordered the Echo Blue Delay pedal from Fuzzdog after seeing how simple this kit was.
if i wanted to use a different germanium transistor would I need an NPN or PNP, same for the silicon?
It’s npn, you would just have to make sure you get the pin outs correct !
@@ac30helix44 have you dealt with fuzzdog's octopus optical bypass...are they worth it
AumniX nope, I have always used the standard bypass. To be honest I don’t even turn it off. I use it as part of a brian may ring so it’s always on !

What size resister on the daughterboard for the LED ?
2k2 if I remember correctly
Great video!!!👍🏻👏🏻 Could you make a video about how this pedal sounds?

peter ross yes it does, also, use plenty of solder or the connection will be shit
You never did a sound sample?
I know, I’m to busy building other kits 🤦🏼♂️ the only way I could do it would be on my phone.
great to see you active again Brother!
Sound Demo?
Interesting video, well done. Fancy doing a demo and building a deacy amp? :D
If only I knew how to. I would love a deacy .
@@ac30helix44 one day, we'll achieve it!
Any sound demo?
Keep meaning to do one ! The only issue is it would be a A/D conversion that might not do the pedal justice !
