I thoroughly enjoyed this wood spirit. I’m really glad you should us how you use the slot mandrel and self adhesive sandpaper to do the detail sanding. Where do you get your sandpaper for your slot mandrel? Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with us my friend. Please keep the cameras rolling 😉👍🔨💣
Really good to see someone who can carve, with no knives, or chisels, etc. etc. The result is a wood spirit that you can be proud of. However the wood was very dry and powdery was it Birch or Cottonwood? I must see if I can get the kind of result in this way, Thank you for this video it is most helpful. Regards from John in England.
Did anyone notice that the carving of the wood spear was supposedly done with the Fordham well it was started with one anyhow most of the work was done with a dremmel. I know I can't be the only one who noticed that
hey man, im new to carving, and im having some problems to work olive wood, most of my bits go smoking black when i use them, can u suggest me something for really hard and dense wood? tks alot.. grumpy man looks great btw
Antonino Gallitto Hi I never tried olive wood but I tried see grape wood. Really hard wood i was able to do progress with only course bits apply little pressure. All of my fine bits are burned out really fast. Good luck 👍
Did this when I was 20 that was 42 years ago with various woods and driftwood as well as walking sticks ..clocks ..plaques etc.
You make it look easy! Incredible!!
