    Absolutely dig the opening to your video - the logo emergence and color scheme. Super smooth.

    Nice bonsai trees in the background! My son is diving into 4x4 classes for 2021, we probably won't go to into 8th scale for a while yet, but looking into them for when that time comes. Happy New Year!

    Great video! I run serpent cars and have been wanting to try the tough looking tekno battery strap for my SRX8 ebuggy. I have a lot of friends that run Tekno, they are great cars. New subscriber!

    Finally getting i to 8th scale...well, at least my son is... we got a 4s pack, and a Tekin 1900 kv motor, and a buddy gave my son a speed control...
    I have a line on a used Tekno roller, but am really considering holding off a bit longer and both of us saving up for a brand new 2.0 kit.... to start fresh with something not worn out, and for my son to build it himself so he is more able to pit for himself as I'm usually in the RD booth...also, I've been told the 2.0 drives much smoother and less twitchy...
    Please let me know how the 2.0 has worked out for you, and what things you've upgraded or replaces...

      Hello, so far haven’t had to replace too much. I changed out worn springs, center diff case, and some replacement screws, and hinge pins. I’m still using the Tekin motor and switched to Hobbywing ESC for the 2.0. Still one on my favs, thinking of the nitro version in future.

      Why did you change from tekin to hobbywung just asking

    • @isaiahfurrow7414
      @isaiahfurrow7414 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnmacdonald6833 can't speak for anyone else, but we have a 1900KV Tekin motor to put in my son's kit, his 2.0 is getting ordered this week. We are also going to run a Hobbywing ESC , the XR8 SCT ... it is cheap, and I have seen too many RX8 speedos bite the dust....

    Good video. I am very new, and just bought this kit. May I ask, do I need any glue or oil or whatever fluid to complete this kit ? Thank you

      Have you started building I’m wondering how hard is it gonna be to build I haven’t ever had a electric buggy only nitro but that one was a rtr (ready to run)

    • @43SunSon
      @43SunSon 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@adielpiedra3533 same here, actually. My first RC car is a RTR nitro monster car. Well, so far I think it's not hard, hahah. There are videos on youtube teaching you how to build step by step. If I still have questions, I can ask my local hobby store.

      The kit comes with oil, no glue besides blue locktite is needed.. Do yourself a favor and purchase different weight shock and diff oils..
      The car will need maintenance depending how much you use it.
      For the guy asking how hard it is to build, the Tekno is very build friendly especially when building the Ebuggy.
      Depending what you plan to use the car for us the choice of weight oils you should choose.
