I use 3 ft splits and that pull to the LB has never been much of an issue. Counting on the LB to read and fit the run which typically brings him to the block. from there the RB simply reads the block and reacts. I posted a picture of how I would draw it up against an odd front in the community tab if you'd like to see.
@mythikos3535 ok I thought you were talking about the puller. Well to be honest if I saw a 2 or 2i I wouldn’t be calling power away from that look if at all. So I agree with a 2 or 2i that’s a tough block. We typically see a 4 in that type of look, but a 3 might be difficult but not impossible.
Coach, can you have the BST and C combo the 3 and PSG base block the 2i, and PST base block the 5-tech? BSG still can pull.
Yeah I think you could. No total right or wrong way, the best way is the one that works
That backside scoop has to be difficult unless the splits are super tight.
How are you dealing with a odd tight/tite front?

@@CoachRossFootball I’m talking about the BST scooping a 3, 2, or 2i

@@CoachRossFootball gets tricky if you’re facing a team that likes to stem their front at the snap.
@mythikos3535 yeah I agree and hope we see that so we can adjust. Plenty of things that can be done to take them out of that.
