I'd really love to hear an update on this beautiful & sweet young woman...I pray she's become a professional flautist & living closer & closer to that future she dreamt of..I never forgot this story, & every time I've rewatched it, I've cried with such happiness for Corelsa Lee & her supportive & loving parents... It's now 2020 during the Covid 19 Pandemic, & heightened racial unrest, & also the political "shame" (of the US) where "corruption" & lies upon lies are the top of the news day after day...We need more stories like this to remind us there's still much love & goodwill among us everyday "average" kind people...
So this brand Powell has their kind of metal that’s called Aurumite which means that the outside of her flute is 14k (I’ve asked Coreisa herself) Rose Gold and the inside of her flute is Silver. I know this because I’m also a flutist but I don’t play a Powell (my twin sister does)
