Hello sweet friend, I absolutely love those hand held mirrors that you found! I think Wes could make you a peg rail of sorts, no pegs just slots like a spoon rack would have where the handles could go and the beautiful tops would be above. Then you could easily remove them for use.

I like to put white dresser scarves on my oak bedroom furniture with some of the natural wood showing. It adds some elegance I think. Thanks for sharing your treasures; I have a fav hand mirror that is sliver & has a lady in the silver; gorgeous.

If it says dishwasher safe it isn't too old. I was fascinated to learn 1955 was approx when things started being marked dish washer safe. But other companies like Lenox China didn't start putting that on til 1990s. And on it goes. Quite a rabbit hole one can go down to learn all about that simple stamp of dishwasher safe.

I wonder if the back of that one mirror I think it was your second favorite one do you think that material could be bakelite I've seen it in some beautiful colors in jewelry I was just curious that maybe that's what it would be it's my favorite and oh my I'm going to start really paying attention to hand mirrors when I go to the thrift store now I've got so much stuff in a one-bedroom apartment I'm going to have to choose something to give back to the store 😂😂😂

Hi Maranda, I love your channel and video's. Love the way you style things. There is one thing that makes me shiver when I look at you and that is the ticking of the nails against things. But that's just me. I can't stand that sound. Greetings from The Netherlands. ❤
Pretty sure those mirrors aren't antique or vintage, and the 1st one is not brass. You can see the silver metal coming thru on the one side. Plus I don't think they did the 2-sided mirror back in the day. Truly old mirrors usually have that darkening in them if you know what I mean. Yours are just too perfect, imo. The items are nice to achieve the 'vintage' vibe you are going for though. I have seen Dollar Tree items in vintage booths even! It's getting kinda hard to know what is real and what is reproductions when there isn't an actual person to tell the story of the items.

Almost positive the green mirror is bakelite. I have a set I purchased in the 90's from Antique Shop in Memphis.
