First interview in which a woman celebrity didn't play any Victim card or Entitlement card. No self glory also. Pure facts. Nice to see sensible interview. Tanisha Mam ke upar dikh raha hain Krishna's love effect.

She is modern about egg freezing and wants to educate but traditional about menopausal issues women face and feels there is unnecessary discussion. All her views are basically borrowed from sadhguru.

@hauterrfly I enjoyed the part where Tanisha contextualized feminism to the Indian culture and mystic history and the comparative analysis she drew with the US (which evidently has anti-women policies, e.g no right to abortion, which is the most fundamental right to body for a woman). I also liked how she shared her personal experiences about woman, body, and health without any projection that may appear as a media bite. Her experience and story was relatable and honest. Tanisha you can be a public speaker or a motivational speaker, you have it in you, try it, sometime. 💜

@@hauterrflythe part where she pointed out how people overlook and ignore women’s voices don’t give credit to women for their contributions and how when you move out in public you have to take care of yourself because it is not a given that one would be safe. Also that there are many facets to a woman’s personality just like men and they must be able to express themselves.

Hats off to this woman, Tanisha Mukherji ❤ she is so humble and so content in her life❤ all what she spoke about life and liberation,, feminism is so very authentic and true. Most of the women like Tanisha, Sushmita and many more women who really have their strong opinion on life, relationships and marriages are not married. Because if u have strong opinions on life and feminism and stuff, you are free from so many societal pressure. And can be so so free and liberating and do what pleases you❤❤❤ can actually drive your passion and work, be with your parents and take care of them and help the same society which is struggling with so many issues, be it economical, or emotional......

23:50 such an uneducated and ignorant comment. If you do not understand menopause, get some education, but do not call discard something so important without any reference. Understanding menopause is basics for women to make informed choices. Also, why did you freeze your eggs if menopause is rubbish?

yeah well, it was all fine until her progressive views dipped down to her confirmation bias with her thoughts on menopause, especially being a woman herself. moreover, while you can believe and try keep the sancity of the marriage as an institution but do not justify gender roles by trying to extrapolate it with cultural and spiritual aspects/hinduism- while our culture have had prevalence of respecting women and worshipping them as they say, do not be ignorant of the society and how things are for women or/and if that culture is even being practiced the way it is preached. our men wanting to keep our women at home cannot be justified by simply changing the nomenclature and calling it 'protecting' instead of 'restricting' when the root of the problem is, ultimately men (or the society in which men grow up in- just clarifying before men come and attack me lol). i feel her learning curve has expanded a lot but her views are kinda skewed, maybe because of privilege or simply lack of check with the reality.

India is a complete grey shade society. Where paradoxical situations prevail everywhere even in history. Even females have certain power but face exploitation. Even male despite having authoritarians as per claim by western world face a bully, molestation and many aspects. So don't say anything without any proper info

Her opinion reeks of privilege. She has completely delusional views about feminism being ingrained in our country...are you serios! Hinduism has always had respect for women? Practice of Sati, treatment of widows, society's thoughts about girl child being born into a family, female feticide , education was always privilege of boys, patriarchy, dowry, bride burning....these were how women were respected? Which world has she been living in? Her rubbishing the talks around menopause!
I remember her on BigBoss....she always came across as very entitled. Many would argue editing played a hand in the way she was portrayed, but this interview just proves the contrary!
In fact, the first guest who didn't do justice to the this show.

Sati wasn't a hindu practice...are you kidding? Please enlighten...ppl of which faith practiced Sati??
You seriously don't seem to know how to follow a conversation....she was specifically talking about respect for women in our society...that was not in comparison to any other society!
When you use the word "barking"....you just proved how much women are respected!! You definitely are a perfect example

    Dear Tanisha,
Your comment about menopause is not only ignorant but also contradictory, especially given your discussion about freezing eggs. Menopause affects women differently, and it’s essential that they are informed about the support and medical options available to them rather than dismissing it as a non-existent issue.
As for feminism-seriously? Your take is both ironic and misguided. Regardless of what religious texts may say, I encourage you to look around and observe the reality of the world we live in. The fact that you experienced sexual harassment at the age of 12/13 is a direct reflection of the culture we need to challenge. Feminism, at its core, is simply the belief that women deserve equal rights and respect-not superiority, just equality. While I acknowledge that some individuals may take it to extremes, that doesn’t negate the rampant misogyny that still exists.
Denying feminism while acknowledging personal experiences of gender-based harassment is a contradiction worth reflecting on. I hope you take the time to reconsider your stance with an open mind.

Feminism if it only restricts itself to equal opportunities would be quite different. People's perception and application of feminism is what has to be called out. Especially, playing the victim
card, using it to shirk responsibility, male exploitation, belittling men in immediate or peripheral circle. People are brainwashed in to something that is not feminism yet under the garb of it.

I relate with so much of what she said. Specially when she called out women who had affairs and married men who already had wives and then they are being called feminist and strong.

Well keep up the good work of your channel. These are strong messages that everyone should know and be aware of , both man and woman. Respect is truly important . Thankyou for the good session .
