- Kirby games are fun/awesome despite looking cute and harmless...Kirby can have some very cool (or very creepy...cough 64 cough) moments and the Revenge of Meta-Knight is one of them and this theme is prefect end to it

It's sad, it seems like Kirby and Meta Knight are the last remaining star warriors who can defeat the ultimate evil in the Kirby series and yet Kirby still has so much to learn, and only 1 person to teach him.
True. The same in the anime. Maybe Nintendo made the story like that to put more feeling into it, you know?

Meta Knight can't teach Kirby anything. Kirby has yet to lose against Meta Knight. Meta Knight nowadays is focused on proving his own strength.
Seriously, the talent it takes to get away with Sax and keyboard in a Western themed song. Then to do that shit with only 16 bit audio? I just... I just can't find the words.

Meta Knight is such a fascinating character. He was first introduced to us in Kirby's Adventure as an adversary turned ally. A sort of mentor figure. Later we see the same character appear in Super Star as a foe preparing to engage in total conquest. But it was previously shown to us that Meta Knight isn't a truly evil character. He's an honorable character who legitimately thought what he was doing is right and only faltered when Kirby challenged him and his ideals, thus becoming the strongest warrior in Dreamland. Maybe Meta Knight never truly gave up on his ideals. He simply respects Kirby's strength as a comrade more. Or maybe he simply trust Kirby to keep Dreamland in peace.
i like to think that after Meta Knights defeat by kirby, possibly the most laziest resident on all of pop star they realised that maybe laziness isnt so bad after all.
I forgot that Kirby is powerful enough to get away with lazyness.

You're giving Meta Knight too much credit. Only anime Meta Knight cared that much about training Kirby. Game canon Meta Knight only tests Kirby in Kirby's Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland. Every other appearance, he knows Kirby is strong and is just doing his own thing.

Everyone except Sailor Dee and the basic enemies ( Scarfies, Gims, etc. ) flee the ship before the Meta Knighy fight. Sailor Dee decides to go down with the ship, but he's seen in Mass Attack cheering on Meta Knight, so we can assume he's still alive

I love everything about this, the ship crashing into the water and meta-knight flying away at the last minute then Kirby riding off into the sunset.
Meta Knight: This music embodies the defeat and sadness left after kirbys defeated me...but as I saw him riding off, I realized, I finally found a worthy opponent, maybe one day a ally, maybe one day...a friend...an adversary...for now...he is kirby...the warrior who defeated me, the only one to defeat me, these things I must ask myself later, for I am Meta Knight...

But perhaps I gone about doing things too judgementally and harshly. Perhaps I should leave it up to Dreamland to embrace it’s own destiny. But I will step in if at all necessary. Just as we all expect you to do. You will not have to fight the good fight alone. We will continue to train to get stronger. For Dreamland and beyond! Farewell, Kirby. Enjoy your rest. You surely need it after what I put you through. May we meet again under better circumstances.
