Man, I'm genuinely interested in what went down with the Peel. I was pretty excited for that and was actually legitimately disappointed when it didn't happen.

If you're looking for a long term or semi-long term tow rig, you're better off getting a normal truck. My dad has had his gen 2 Raptor since it was first released and he has used it as a daily driver and a tow rig, using it to tow motorcycles to the mountains as well as a boat occasionally. While the truck is capable of towing the suspension really limits you and after years of towing the rear leaf springs have started to sag. Its gotten to the point to where the truck squats when putting a light load over the rear. If you are going to keep the Ratpor as a tow rig I recommend you install stiffer rear leaf springs or a helper airbag system. I also recommend you get an aluminum trailer as they are much lighter (to help with the weight limitations of the Raptor), won't rust, and hold their value far better than a steel trailer. Another option you can look into is using a load leveling/weight distribution hitch.
I’ll give it a week before he finds a danger sign and puts it in a ditch.

The engine barely fit to I had to do sus adjustments. I installed a big chrome cannon in the car and now everyone hates me (I wonder why) 🤔 😅 🙃

The cost thing is the main reason alot of people I know have stayed away from new full-size pickups/SUVS. My uncle used to get a new Expedition every couple of years. His current one is the first used vehicle he's bought in almost 40 years because a brand new one is upwards of $75,000-$80,000, and that's without getting the options package he wants (a fully optioned Expedition you might as well upgrade and buy a Lincoln Navigator for almost the same amount of money). A friend of mine 4 or 5 years ago bought a heavily optioned Ram pickup off of a 2 year lease and he still paid $65,000 for it. My dad at one point was thinking about going for a mid-size SUV (Grand Cherokee or somthing similar) and got sticker shock

I honestly think that you should get a dolly (a truck hitch withtwo wheels and two wheel holders) lighter wight, saves you money for your upgrades and less of a hassle.
