loved the video.im up in Scotland and had a few mk1 and 2 fiestas.one with a roll cage and sooped up..got my sons into them and bought a 950cc pop plus mk1 fiesta just 15 miles from us after looking all over uk.
Excellent no waffle tell it how it is video. I’m 72 years old and always loved fords after my dad. He had 2 Mk1 Cortinas, a 2000e Corsair that I drove to wedding in Scotland. Beautiful motor. My favourite a Mk3 Zodiac that we cleaned every weekend. And of course he had to have a Mk1 2000 Capri!. Myself I had a 1600GT Cortina MK 2. If we had kept them all just wonder what they would fetch at auction today! Keep up the good work. Lovely to see cars of my era again.
Thanks very much mate my daughter has just had her car written in an accident and desperately needs a quick replacement for a bout 4000,,and we are in newark notts and after watching this was wondering if it s a good idea, thanks again.Ps i keep telling her to stay at about 400000 miles
Came across this video by chance . Good to see the Cosworth. I know some one has one new since 1990. 4 x4 version white with optional black leather . One owner since new
Some nice old cars there, but I have to admit Mini - - - never seen the attraction, never had one, doubtful if I could actually fit in one (6ft4 tall), more of a Ford fan.......... the Sierra looked a really nice example
Enjoyed that Mitch. I went on the Friday to have a look around. I was very tempted by the Mini City and noted tonight it’s being flipped on eBay for £7995! Would have been tempted to bid on the Granny estate too, but drivers A-post / wing area was rotted out unfortunately. Did you see the mint Maestro van? Loved that. Congrats on the 5k subscribers. Cheers, Dave
Thank you mate, yes I see the mini city on ebay, along with a few others from that weekends auction... I saw the mini maestro van but unfortunately was too busy recording other vehicles 🤦🏻 I agree the Granada Estate was starting to go in many places. Cheers Dave!
We never got most of those cars here in Australia, thank goodness, lol. The only ones that looked familiar was the mini, beetle& ?. I've still got a 77 Datsun 240k, though I wish it was a Z,that I've had since 1988. I hated ever driving it in rain,so it's 99% rust free. Does anyone want my 95 Hyundai Scoupe with only 111,000 km on it?,that everything electric seems to go wrong at the moment.
Loved the video i have to ask do you have to be a dealer to use these auctions or can anyone walk in and peruse the car and possibly buy one there ,or are there any other rules for member of the public, cheers mate thanks again.
Hello mate, thank you for watching! This auction is open to everyone, you can walk in and brochures are £5. To bid you have to put down a £500 cash or card deposit (to receive your bidding card), obviously if you don’t buy anything you can get that back at the end 👍🏻 Hope this helps!

Afternoon, thank you for such a lovely comment. It will not be taken into consideration & I will continue to record everything I enjoy. But thank you for taking the time out for your day to watch and comment on my video. 😃
British exceptionalism has upset you mitch what makes you to tell me I shouldn't slag of cars that will fill you only with nostalgia I wait to see other marques German Japanese American?
Hi John, I never once told you not to ‘slag’ off any cars. Enjoy what ever classic cars you like 😎 These videos mainly focus on the classic cars I prefer (fords, minis, etc). If you don’t like this preference simply click off the video. I do look at other cars but there are 200+ at this auction and I would be there all day videoing them all just to include everyone’s preferences. Remember these videos are free, I’m not obliged to record the cars you want to see. If you’d like to visit this auction yourself the details are in the description of this video 👍🏻
I Bid on The Rover 216 Auto but £1400+fees for A Car with no MOT is too much for Me
Great editing, no waffle, you say only what's necessary. Thanks for posting.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video 😎

Mk7 escorts of that year Mitch weren't painted n the body colour to save back in the day, like the mk2 mate I have a 1978 mk1in java green
no such car as a Mk7 Escort
Hey Mitch, greetings from Dublin! Like the way you edit the auction reports, very quick and informative, thanks
Thank you for the comment, glad you enjoy the videos 👌🏻
No MOT I assume the are rotters underneath where you cannot see. Old cars are like icebergs- you cannot see most of the bits that sink you!
Well Done Man Must Have Took You A Life Time To Make This Vid Thanks For That

The Scorpio was cheap because its only a 2L not the required 2.9L to pull that lump about lol.
Great video! New sub from me. Good mix of cars, was that an Audi quattro where you were filming them leave?!
Glad you enjoyed the video, thank you for the sub! Yes it was, the Quattro was auctioned on the Sunday 👍🏻

£5,400 for a rusty Pinto Capri. Who's buying them? I'm 58 and I know how crap they were when they were new.
Good video but please give the sale price as opposed to
Auctioneers gabbled sale price.
It could be very fun in Transit with miss. Must start saving money for Transit.😉

people don't MOT them if they need alot of work,a basic search will tell you what the car has failed on

That Scorpio was definitely worth 3k. Someone got a bargain.
m o t means nothing as only confirms vehicle condition on the day of test
It means it’s roadworthy and safe. Also means you can drive it away from the auction instead of paying recovery.
@@Mk2Mitch only roadworthy at time of test as can be written off after test but still considered roadworthy as got currant ticket
