Anyone watching this needs to truly understand how much skill this takes. I did my PPL and then purchased a similar model the best I could do was hover it tail in. Any deviation from tail in became very expensive. Very very impressive world class flying.

Sitting in a helicopter you push the stick forwards you go forwards left is left right is right back is back. With a model fly it tail towards you and the same principles apply. Fly it nose in and the principles are reversed push the stick forward to move back back to move forward left to go right and right to move left all in less than the blink of an eye. Easy isn’t it ? I think not. That’s why she’s so good.
Dave DYSON fly an RC heli long enough and one day you wake up and orientation isn’t a challenge. Some RC pilots can then only manage two stick inputs at a time. Others can manage 4 and that’s what you’re watching.

The REAL skill in this kind of flying is in NOT hitting the ground. I can fly scale choppers all day long in my Simulator, but every time I try this kind of thing, I lose perspective really quickly, have NO IDEA which way the chopper is facing, and BANG.....into the deck I go......I spend more time watching broken bits flying all over the place than flying if I attempt to do this. It takes FAR more skill than many people think. I don't think it's all that impressive to watch, but being able to do it this well is a REAL TALENT. Nice flying lady.....
Computer sim help from other pilots and practice practice practice and the understanding the fundamentals of collective pitch rc helicopters oh and you need a job with a healthy bank account

Wow I've never seen anything like that and the helicopters are absolutely the hardest to fly. She really challenges the structural Integrity of that helicopter and is and amazing RC helicopter pilot.
I’ve noticed a lot of pro FBL pilots getting airborne while the rotors spin up, I fly flybar and always wait for rpm to settle before increasing pitch but no one ever said I should it just seems right to me as a real world pilot. It’s so weird seeing a machine start to go full vertical at 60% rpm
