Also not mentioned here, when Ray worked in the “Dungeon of Doom” faction in WCW as “Big Bubba Rodgers” he got a win over Sting at a main event on one of there PPV’s, I can’t remember which one of the top of my head but I certainly remember being very pleased to see one of my all time favourites getting a big win over a companies top star at the top of the card. Glad he won the UWF world title but i really think he deserved to have the WCW or WWF championship just once if only as an intermediary champion. R.I.P. Big man

When I was a kid the Big Boss man was one of the wrestlers I admired. His 2nd run embracing the dark side of the law was memorable. He went before his time. Thanks for a great video on a legend.
Bossman transcended titles, the only title he ever had was WWF Hardcore if I remember right. He was phenomenal in the ring, everyone loved him backstage, and he managed to remain relevant during Hulkamania and the Attitude era, despite hopping ships. Truly one of a kind.
I'm friends with his daughter. From what she has said about him, he seemed like a really kind-hearted person. I'm not even into wrestling but from what she has said, I came here to learn a little more about him.

Boss Man's weight loss around the early 90s was even more noticeable in the two Hasbro action figures that came out either side of his face turn. With the original figure from 1990, they made him very rotund whereas in the 1991 release he was much more slimline.
I still remember seeing him in the early 90's and have always loved his work. This was an amazing compilation of his career. Awesome work my friend and definitely subbed!
I remember seeing him at my first ever WWE event (a house show) in Tallahassee,FL in 2001 (right after Wrestlemania 17) he put over Hardcore Holly. He came out and thrashed water on the crowd by the entrance, then got on the mic "I'm an Oklahoma fan, I'm going to kick Hardcore's ass just like we did to FSU in football!" such a great a heel!

Boss man was one of my favourites back in 1990 when I was into wrestling... such a character and never knew he was such a nice out behind the cameras.... nice to hear after you see so much sniding and back stabbing ..... a well missed wrestler
I remember seeing Ray at one of the SMKW events. Just getting to the age where accepting the people weren't always the character, he was one that truly surprised me. There's lots of wrestlers that I'd like to know, but there's only a few of the people behind those wrestlers that I'd really have liked to have known, Ray Traylor was on I'd have been honored to have.
I have never heard an Ill word about Ray Traylor (Boss man). Everyone who ever worked with him said he was a quality guy ( A rarity in the Pro wrestling biz, to be sure). I have other wrestlers say they cried when they heard of his passing.

I was at the match where he attacked Hulk Hogan on the Brother Love Show,it was in Fort Wayne, Indiana.We didn't get many big WWF moments here,just as we don't get many WWE moments now.That was definitely one of the biggest.
