I think the real turning point in this movie is when Jamie’s brother Michael shows up at his apartment, and the audience sees that Jamie has a meaningful support system. We see that there are people who care about him. The movie gets even better, minutes later, when Jamie calls his new love interest Vicky, who is potentially a hundred times better for him than his ex-wife Amanda was.

I would have liked him as Joel in Risky Buidiness instead of Tom Cruise, but then again,, R B launched Tom Cruise's career after Legend.

    0:15 Same here bro🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:43 I was not a fan of that film either dough Micheal ot Joan wasn't the issues I had with the film just that film's story didn't do anything for me at all IMHO.
2:10-2:14 Agreed 100% with you bro.
7:35 Yep I remember that whole scene it was just too ''WTF'' for this type of film Matt that felt more like it belong in a David Cronenberg film at least to me it did.
10:28 From reading up on the trivia that was Sydney Pollack who was a producer on this film to blame he wanted them not to make it too rough for Micheal's character he was worried it ruin Micheal's wholesome image he had at the time remember ''Family Ties'' was still on the air on NBC. Oddley enough Tom Cruise was interested in the role but he had a serious problem with all the drug use in the film and I believe director Joel Schumacher was involved at one point when Cruise was in talks about being in this film but they all dropped out because of production delays.
I feel this film has it's problems but I felt it was the right step in the right dramatic direction that Micheal was going towards during this time period in his career ''Light Of Day''wasn't the best first attempt this one was a step up indeed now''Casualties of War'' is without a doubt in my mind his 100% best dramatic role in a miles better film I agree with you all the way about that Matt. But going back to this film I felt ''Clean&Sober'' is a way better film about drug addiction and with a lead played masterful by another ''Micheal'' Micheal Keaton he had a way better script to work with plus the ending of that felt much more satisfying for the character after all he's been through in the film and such to know that he is going to be on''Up&Up'' for now on I never got that with the ending of this film I'm sorry I understand this film come out people felt I believe still til this day how they should've cast ''Eric Stoltz'' instead in this role over Micheal which of course oddley enough Micheal ended up replace him on ''Back To The Future'' go figured. Awesome job on the review bro👍👍
