To be honest DD could have stopped halfway thru the stand and still would have killed the other team. After seeing all the social media shade the q kidz were throwing, Kayla made them stand there to watch the dolls longest stand and take the L. Kayla knew what she was doing and I live for it.
I saw some of the hate on twitter, you would of thought the other squad was another PT or YCDT and now i understand the anger, they had to stand there for 4 minutes and watch DD be great. It was a DD showcase. DD4L!

Yes me too thanks to social media I have gotten to know a lot of the other battle squad and team members who aren't featured. Kenjie is one of my newfound favs too as well as Makalah those girls are everything. I like Katlyn also(the one who did statue of Liberty on the show) she's another one to watch out for although I haven't seen her perform with them in awhile. And of course Tamia I absolutely love that girl. Even though she is technically not a part of the cast she might as well be since everyone knows her name and talks about her just like she is lol.
Shonta Walker I went to a battle this weekend in GA and she wasn't there either so she probably does have an injury. I am not sure who the young lady is that replaced her. I think her replacement was also in the battle earlier battle with DOB.

This is the director of QKDT my kidz had a ball in New Orleans and I really think it's unfair to my kidz that they are being said to have talked bad about DD4L...This is so not the way it happened yes we lost the battle but it was just that a battle you win some and you lose some...DD4L is a great team a team that is respected by QKDT they are the bomb..com During battle my girls are taught to leave there hearts on the floor win or lose you get a dose of CPR and keep it moving. But at the end of the day it's about the kidz teaching them to hate is not what we do when the battle is over it's over. But to talk about the kidz and say mean things only creates division QKDT thanks Ms. D and her girls for the opportunity to create a childhood memory that will last a lifetime. "WOWSERS" i thought the end of series stands were long stands,but i timed there last one it was just over three minutes forty five seconds thats insanely intense plus much more than a couple of 8 counts.More like 16 sets of 8 the memory.dedication,and fitness required is eye watering yet it's no wonder the DD are so good plus the big bullseye that Miss D often talks about won't fit on their backs soon.Even there music run out due to this stands length ,but i heard no counting from Miss D since some troll complained about a similar event even though i could barely hear any counting due to the immense noise from screaming friends.fans supporters etcetera.So how could the girls hear anything then i'm betting they were too busy dancing plus counting in there own heads
Coach D on Facebook stated for this battle there was no time limit. I heard this team was talking a lot of trash on social media so I guess the Dolls wanted to use as much time as they could to peel the banana!!!
I've noticed that ever since the first battle with YCDT, there have been longer stands. And then when DD battled DOB a few weeks ago, DOB had longer stands but they weren't effective. And in that battle it looked like DD put 4 or 5 stands together as a response. DD still have regular counts that will put them ahead the competition. This particular stand was used against YCDT in the most recent battle.
***** I am no authority on stand battles but trying to be educated about them through you guys and watching the show. I don't care how long they are as long as it's entertaining and effective unlike DOB!!! I saw the Dolls for the first time live this past weekend. Those girls hair, makeup and outfits are everything in person! I also didn't realize that those events lasts all day long. The battle started at 3pm and I know I didn't leave until close to midnight after the winners were announced. They were filming for the new season and a lot of that is done within the competition. I can only imagine that they are tired by the time it comes to the final round. I did see a few teams I had never seen them battle before on TV. The event was in Georgia and I can tell those teams have been practicing, a few of them really did well. Can't wait to see how it is edited for television. BTW, I saw JLo on the AMAs tonight and I could've sworn she did a majorette step or two, I wonder if she's seen some of the Dolls videos or the show???? Thanks for your insightful comments.
Hottoddy Blue tnx for the info I'm from the Caribbean so I'm jealous of all of you who get to see the Dolls perform maybe at my next visit to NY I will make a trip down south just to see the Dolls perform I didn't know all those competitions were so long I thought maybe few hours bit all those hours? Even the Buck or Dance competition they looked like exhausted during the finals both teams I think that may of even been longer. These girls are truly amazing and this is a true sport not just dance. I wish all the teams God's blessings. Jlo and all brining it lol that's very sweet :-)

Loved when DDs turned off the music and keep dancing. I was hoping at some point the music would come back in and they would have been on point when it did. That would have really killed it. Loved the DDs in this. But, I think there are always too many DDs on the floor for most of their routines. I think they can drop at least two.

Any team that's been trained to do it and q-kidds are one of the teams. I witness this and I still give it to both teams if not the long stand everyone could have witness how good they are and that they do and always will bring it to the table and so will the dancing dolls I like them as well. I’m a huge DD fan, but that 3-minute stand era of the team was the worse, especially for it being medium stands. The routine didn’t do anything but look sloppy toward the end, some of the coaches were right. Even so, you can tell it did numbers on the girls. In this vid, it got Tamia 😭❤

The trolls need to realize that this is what goes on in urban areas, not the suburbs. You don't see stand battles at caucasian colleges, but go to a traditional black college in the south it's the norm.

SHONTA I teach my girls respect but you can't control adults they are just that adults my goal is to help inner city girls reach there goals and become productive citizens with the hopes of making a difference in this crazy world we live in. Yes emotions sometimes run high and we are all human but at the end of the day we as directors are striving for the same purpose and that's to provide a better life for the young people we have on our teams. Qkidz has been around forever and we are not just a dance team its one of many things we do to keep young people involved in positive activities everyone has a right to there opinions I don't knock that it is what makes us who we are but know that my kidz was excited about this opportunity not to just compete but to build relationship with a great team....Excited they were it takes a village to help with these kidz and it starts with us....

I don't care how long they are as long as it's entertaining and effective unlike DOB!!! I saw the Dolls for the first time live this past weekend. Those girls hair, makeup and outfits are everything in person! I also didn't realize that those events lasts all day long. The battle started at 3pm and I know I didn't leave until close to midnight after the winners were announced. They were filming for the new season and a lot of that is done within the competition. I can only imagine that they are tired by the time it comes to the final round. I did see a few teams I had never seen them battle before on TV. The event was in Georgia and I can tell those teams have been practicing, a few of them really did well. Can't wait to see how it is edited for television. BTW, I saw JLo on the AMAs tonight and I could've sworn she did a majorette step or two, I wonder if she's seen some of the Dolls videos or the show???? Thanks for your insightful comments.
Hottoddy Blue tnx for the info I'm from the Caribbean so I'm jealous of all of you who get to see the Dolls perform maybe at my next visit to NY I will make a trip down south just to see the Dolls perform I didn't know all those competitions were so long I thought maybe few hours bit all those hours? Even the Buck or Dance competition they looked like exhausted during the finals both teams I think that may of even been longer. These girls are truly amazing and this is a true sport not just dance. Loved when DDs turned off the music and keep dancing. I was hoping at some point the music would come back in and they would have been on point when it did. That would have really killed it. Loved the DDs in this. But, I think there are always too many DDs on the floor for most of their routines. I think they can drop at least two.

Any team that's been trained to do it and q-kidds are one of the teams. I witness this and I still give it to both teams if not the long stand everyone could have witness how good they are and that they do and always will bring it to the table and so will the dancing dolls I like them as well. I was shocked and highly disapointed when tamia messed up. Still one of my favorite dancers tho.
I’m a huge DD fan, but that 3-minute stand era of the team was the worse, especially for it being medium stands. The routine didn’t do anything but look sloppy toward the end, some of the coaches were right.
Even so, you can tell it did numbers on the girls. In this vid, it got Tamia 😭❤
P.S i was happy to see a white girl as a team captain,and she plus her team were good not on the DD level though,and sorry i can't recall the team in questions name.I get sick of trolls going on about all the teams having only or mostly african american girls..I TRULY DONT CARE IF THEY'RE BLACK.YELLOW.RED OR SKY BLUE PINK I LIKE THE DANCING SO SKIN COLOUR SHOULD BE KEPT OUT OF THE EQUATION AS FROM A DISTANCE Tamia ,and Sunjai could easily be mistaken as white due to there lighter skin yet its about the dancing.commitment,and stucture etcetera
The trolls need to realize that this is what goes on in urban areas, not the suburbs. You don't see stand battles at caucasian colleges, but go to a traditional black college in the south it's the norm.

SHONTA I teach my girls respect but you can't control adults they are just that adults my goal is to help inner city girls reach there goals and become productive citizens with the hopes of making a difference in this crazy world we live in. Yes emotions sometimes run high and we are all human but at the end of the day we as directors are striving for the same purpose and that's to provide a better life for the young people we have on our teams. Qkidz has been around forever and we are not just a dance team its one of many things we do to keep young people involved in positive activities everyone has a right to there opinions I don't knock that it is what makes us who we are but know that my kidz was excited about this opportunity not to just compete but to build relationship with a great team....Excited they were it takes a village to help with these kidz and it starts with us....
