He does have a point though that the papers sometimes change the scent completely. I went to buy The One and before that i smelled it on paper, hated it. HATED IT, it smelled like strong citrus and fruits. But when i sprayed it on my wrist and let it sit there for a while, the smell gradually became better and the vanilla and floral scent showed through. Now, every time i wear it i either get compliments or people ask me what i'm wearing.
I just put myself on a spending ban from buying perfume, makeup, and hair care until the end of the year and here you come with this video!! And Justin in it at that 😫

Such a great video and so so so funny! I'm not familiar with a lot of these, but I would agree that Musk Therapy needs to be smelled on skin and given time. Plus, I love white musk fragrances, and the potency of magnolia and hedione in the Initio really shines on my skin in particular, so I love it. But as Ross said, fragrance is subjective so not everyone will like every fragrance in the world. It's all up to the end user. Also, paper testing really mutes a lot of the potential character a fragrance possesses so you really get like, maybe 40-50% of what a fragrance could be, especially in relation to your own skin type. The best testing at the end of the day is on your skin and just wearing it on yourself for the day.
Andrea, I suggest you to try one fragrance that literally blew my brain the moment I smelled it. It’s Cosmos Flower by Clive Christian, I know it’s on the expensive side, but trust me you won’t be disappointed. It’s one of the beautifulest scents I’ve ever smelled in my life.
Is it very floral? I don’t care too much for “very floral fragrances” but there’s a lot of samples or blind buys I’ve tried these past few months and I’m learning that I love anything fresh floral, gourmand floral or just about anything that smells great! Lol, but I’m also trying to be very picky with my buys.
Just blind bought it couple weeks ago. I can say it is a safe blind buy. But, if you are looking for something to blow your mind, or something you have never really smelled before, this is not it. It is a gorgeous perfume though. My 2 cents.

Initio and Amouage fragrances definitely tend to smell completely different on paper they don't do the fragrances justice
