- this is me having my rory-gilmore-heading-off-to-college-moment but ~pandemic edition!~ I am a college student now, le gasp! yes ma'am, I do feel old. even though this year has been an absolute shitshow, I am so lucky to be attending uni where I get to not only make my brain bigger, but open myself up to other people's perspectives and learn cool shit and be more empathetic !!!! I live and thrive on new information and discussion, so being in a learning environment again has made me content and excited. and, to all my fellow students, remote learning does suck. I feel ya. yeaaah, you get to roll out of bed five minutes before your class begins, but being away from the classroom has made us value it a bit more. if you're lacking motivation, energy, hell, sleep, dude we in it together! take those breaks, drink that water, wear yo mask! respect your teachers who are working their asses off and deserve the world! let's do it together.

I think this is like the second time i'm watching one of your vids? I'm next door (in Virginia), so if you ever get bored of D.C. you can always explore Va! Old town Alexandria is a metro ride away and so is Arlington( but that's more bars and restaurants). From Old Town you can reach Nation Harbor via boat and there are a bunch of chill national parks around the Potomac if you want more nature-y stuff. Though for D.C. the Arboretum and Botanical gardens are nice, though the latter is closed rn. Welcome to the area and good luck in your studies!
