little fun fact about the song and me: whenever I fly in a plane, this tune is immediately on my headphones the whole flight because on the first time, it was super soothing and immersive. Since a couple of years now. And the other way around I get set my soul above the clouds, wherever this songs hits me. Its just a a magic journey. Eternity
I have had similar experiences on planes with Jon Hopkin's music. This is def immersive and timeless(?), in the sense that you forget about time. New Jackson know how to lay down the feels
@@Saeftman Nice to meet and thanks for asking with so much going on I hadn't listened to this song in a while. 2 weeks to go but it could arrive any day now really. Very exciting, How's being a dad with 11 years of experience going?
@@SuperSilverfox81 Then you definitely have to hear that song more often. I wish you all the best for the birth. I have two daughters. The feeling of becoming a father back then was indescribable. After 11 years it is still very nice to see your children every day. Of course there are also days when you could shoot them to the moon, but that's normal ;-)

You should try out little fluffy clouds! It's a classic tune
Omg crazy you mention this the first time I listened to this was in the plane! It was such an amazing experience.
To me, this is the quintessential Dublin tune. When I was living abroad, I'd throw this on and instantly feel the sensations of walking through home.
Kittser, you genius. One of the most talented Irish acts there ever has been.
the poem, the picture (the pardoner?), the music. Truly beautiful
I feel alive everytime I hear this song so beautiful one of my favourites!
This is an important piece of music.
Magnificient violin sound. Soft, progressive, full of melancholia and hope. Thanks!

Great track, and I love the nod of the head to Frank O'Hara. Can't wait to see you at Body & Soul!
Nod of the head? It’s the entire freaking poem....
@@elwoodzo the entire poem with no credit whatsoever. To Frank O'Hare. Shame.
@@zizanie it's a classic. It doesn't need to be credited.

This is amazing. Does anyone know how he did the strings in this track? They dont sound programmed, they sound legit and fit too well to be sampled.

reminiscent of allen
The frank O'Hara reading on its own is way better tbh
Bien, agréable, dommage que ce soit trop linéaire, trop répétitif, il aurait fallu un peu plus de vraies guitares🎸pour enrichir le morceau
