This was the 1st cricket world cup match i watched. Recently i watched france vs argentina fifa 2022 as my 1st football match. Both the matches which introduced me to the sport happened to be greatest in their respective fields. I think that this cricket match is the best in history of sports if you can appreciate cricket. It was the most thrilling and suspenseful match ever. Everyone played excellently especially williamson and stokes.

To think we had this game and the epic Wimbledon 2019 final between Djokovic and Federer, that went all the way to 12-12 in the final set. Two sports, both played in London on the same day, both considered the pinnacle of their respective sport, went all the way and more. Truly one of the greatest sports days ever.

The final was a great advert for the game of cricket. I'm English and although I'm pleased England won I would have preferred a victory (either way) that was decisive and not based on stats, which this one was. Personally I think it's been a very good tournament with no controversies over cheating, sledging or lack of sportsmanship; traits associated with some nations more than others, mentioning no names but it begins and ends in A.
