It's absolutely disgusting that the person who threw the sulphuric acid in her face only served 8 years in prison, got released and then went on the run. 😡😡😡 they should have both got AT LEAST 100 years in prison.
As a rape survivor I broke down crying when they got to part where her rapist got charged for raping her and got life in prison. I’m so happy for her and she is one of the lucky ones.
He was sentenced to life with a min of 6 years which makes no sense and is BS, but he has since been paroled, back in prison and paroled again in 2020 and is now on the run and fled the country for other crimes that he was recalled to prison for. They are after him for sure but who knows if they will catch him. Unfortunately a lot of people sentenced to life don't serve life. Messed up system. Life should be life. Bottom line. No parole. I'm just glad Katie is doing so well. She is an amazing and strong woman now married with two kids and living her best life! I hope she continues to do so!❤

So basically he looked at her a shiny new beautiful object he acquired that was taken away. So it wasn’t even someone who was madly in love and had a moment of craziness .
