On the one hand - I'm really glad we have the vlog brothers and all associated projects. on the other There aren't enough techno marvels possible to deliver us the promised land so long as the economic and political systems they're introduced into still incentivize and reward bad behavior - TB didn't explode in Lesotho for no reason. I didn't panic at the news because even though I don't know everything there is to know about TB, I've been watching vlogbrothers for a while and thanks to your unending efforts to bring awareness and change to TB's needless death rate, I've gleaned enough information about this disease to know that my dad will be ok. My first thoughts weren't "oh no this is terrible!" but rather "oh yeah, this is the curable disease John Green is obsessed with!" I'm glad I can say "curable" with confidence given how lucky we are to have diagnostics and medicine available. Thank you John and Hank for your philanthropy and DFTBA!
May your dad's treatment be as smooth and uncomplicated as it can be. I am so glad John's knowledge helped you in what can be a really scary moment. Best of luck to you, your family, and your dad as you navigate this. DFTBA!
I was just in the ICU being quarantined for possible TB. I was terrified at first but then remembered John Green and how it's perfectly treatable nowadays. It turns out I just have pneumonia and I'm getting better already with antibiotics. I'm sure your dad will be ok but I'm praying for him nonetheless!

It's hard to find, because it was meant for a lay audience but way too niche for a big publisher, but you can get a copy through ILL - "Captain of Death: the Story of Tuberculosis" by Thomas M. Daniel.
He's not nearly so sharp as he once was. But I'm sure he would still understand and be proud to hear how much has changed in "the story of tuberculosis" since then. Thank you, Nerdfighteria, for taking up the torch. The next chapter will be brighter still.
The tea is amazing! I got the earl grey, the rooibos chai, and the green tea, all in the soft launch and I'm excitedly waiting for my restock
With the announcement of the teas I would like to plead for a hot chocolate line aswell, I’m not much of a coffee or tea drinker but would love to have a warm drink that supports nerdfighteria!
Opening TH-cam right when you uploaded this is crazy.

Loving all the optimism in the comments. Also loving my daily morning cup of Keats & Co. earl grey tea!

If you want to change the world please consider going vegan!❤
It reduces your carbon emissions by up to 73% and it saves 2000 animals a year :)
Hi John! Hardly ever comment on anything...but I missed your videos so much. Lately, I've felt very pessimistic and you make the world a happy place to be in! Best wishes :)
With just that sliver of Keats, I would pay for an audiobook of John Greene just reading famous poems
Thank you for adding a little hope into my life on a regular basis. Lord knows I need it 😅
the keats and co earl grey is INCREDIBLE
"Tools that you don't use are not tools." is so painfully current and yet timeless...
I've never been so happy to be advertised at by someone on TH-cam. :)
My 6 month old loved this video
I carry Tb from working in a hospital in Nicaragua. No symptoms but for my job I had to get tested to prove that it was inactive.
Y'all are gonna make me cry
T4TB - love it
Another day ends with a little more hope than expected and all is (somewhat) well
I am soooooo exited that you now ship to Europe!!!!
I've been getting awesome socks for a while now, but the small size is still a bit too big for me, so unfortunately I will stop my subscription soon, but I didn't want to stop contributing monthly to the good store.
Congratulations, everybody! What this community is achieving is absolutely amazing to see, and I am soooooo happy to be part of it.
From Alaska, did not know this! So cool.
You're first two guests are truly a blast from the past!
Awesome projects!
Thank you John!
Thank you, John 💙🌻💙
Vlogbrothers is one of the few threads keeping me from total despair 🙃
