  • How the World Was Made in Six Days is a documentary series that takes the best of the relevant teachings of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, the best conclusions from modern scientific experiments and theories, and the best interpretations of Scripture based on a thorough exegesis of the original Hebrew and Greek texts, and puts them all together to produce the most biblically sound and scientifically viable explanation of the origin and operation of the universe that Christianity has ever offered to the modern age. Day One of the DVD series will be available for online streaming and DVD at kolbecenter.org in the very near future.

      There are plenty of videos in the channel that discuss the youngness of the world compared to the atheist nonsense that comes out of the evolutionists.

      Absolutely agreed. The soft/ tacit acceptance of evolution has wrought about the whole Modernist heresy. If man could ascend up from the animals and change natures over time, then truth itself can change over time and doctrines and dogmas can and even should change and be improved upon. Plus if the Church and scripture was that wrong on the very origins and genesis of humanity, then there really isn’t anything in the Faith that isn’t up for grabs.

      This is the first time I’ve given something from sensual fidelium a thumbs down! I’m a Marian Catholic and have NO problem with evolution because it doesn’t matter how long it took the Holy Spirit to create. The infallible teaching authority says NO to 6 day’s - how satan is deceiving! As far as I’m concerned there’s absolutely NO conflict at all between science and faith - it’s man being deceived and confused by Satan. Please ignore this satanic nonsense and go by ONLY what the infallible Magisterium of the holy Catholic Church teaches! God bless. Ps this trash has been put together by fallible individuals so I totally reject it!!

      @@simonslater9024Not only is evolution a lie created by the Freemasons to free the secularist from having to believe God Almighty created the Universe. But as a theory it cannot stand up to scrutiny when true science is applied towards it. It does matter how the Universe was created, because evolution, both “biological” and in the heavens with the Big Bang Lie, it reduces God Almighty to a mad scientist, using explosions, random processes, and death to bring forth new life over a period of slow and weak powers to change things over billions of years. The 4th Lateran Council declared that creation was instantaneous and from nothing as a dogma of the faith. Not to mention that the ideas of both entropy and genetic entropy disprove the capacity of evolution as a plausible theory on its own. Quit lying and listening to modernist lies told by Freemasons who have corrupted the teachings and dogmas of Holy Mother Church. Satan wants you to believe in evolution, because it distances God from the personal creation that was the first 6 days. Genesis is true and real history. Anything contrary to that is heretical coping pushed by Satan.

    I think we tend to forget that reading the Bible requires us to read it in many different layers. There’s a literal translation, there’s a metaphorical translation, to spiritual translation, the deeper and deeper you go into reading the Bible into reading each scripture you will discover a deeper meaning. Right? Like we know Exodus is the prefigurement of Christ battle against Satan and Israelites is us being led into the promised land. That’s what I’m talking about and Genesis is no different.
    Catholic lighthouse media has a wonderful talk by Monsignor Dan Deutsch. The title is: The history of salvation, where he talks about the seven covenants, each convent begins a new age. In an unrelated talk, I heard by another priest on TH-cam he said that the six days of creation represent the six ages of time. And just as the original Adam was born on the sixth day, so the new Adam was born in the sixth age. We are currently in the sixth age, the age of the church, because on the seventh day, the seventh age, God is going to rest from all his work. The six days of creation represent the six ages of time, and God is still creating the world. Not the present world, but the new Heaven and the New Earth. That’s what God is creating. We get so hyper-focused on the temporal we forget to think Eternal.

      Yes, well, you also have Catholic priests stating that aliens could exist and blessing sodomite relationships, so just because someone is a priest, it doesn't make them an expert on biblical exegesis. Dr. Sungenis stated that though there are differing opinions on interpretation, it's important to consult what the Fathers and Doctors of the Church have said. Not to mention that Dr. Sungenis is well-known for his orthodox commentaries on Scripture, and he has written many books and engaged in many debates refuting the errors of Protestantism, using Scripture to do so. He is far more knowledgable than many priests on not only Scripture, but also cosmology.

    • @jefffinkbonner9551
      @jefffinkbonner9551 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Well Augustine thought that creation was instantaneous and simply expressed as 6 days, but either way it doesn’t change the fact that all those metaphorical meanings are based on a literal historical event. The parting of the Red Sea is a metaphor for baptism, but that doesn’t mean the parting of the Red Sea is merely a metaphor and didn’t literally happen. I get really frustrated with people who try to explain away genesis by going on about poetry and metaphors because they’re little different from the modern biblical scholars who say that Our Lord didn’t actually multiply the loaves, he just taught everyone about generosity or that He didn’t physically, literally rise from the dead but that it just represents how Jesus rises in our hearts. Mere metaphors without their literal antecedents are just parables. However, it’s clear when Our Lord is telling a parable and when the Gospel is describing a historical event that happened.

    • @Dreamwarrior0802
      @Dreamwarrior0802 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jefffinkbonner9551 yes, you are correct, and I don’t mean to imply that Genesis didn’t happen the way it is documented because my teenagers when they study science at school, I explain to them there is one question science will never be able to answer and that’s, why, so that’s where the Bible comes in. The Bible explains why God created the world. Genesis explain the chronological order in which God created The world which to my understanding g is consistent with science as well.

      Here is his quote from 'Humani Generis', English paragraph 36: "For these reasons the Teaching Authority of the Church does not forbid that, in conformity with the present state of human sciences and sacred theology, research and discussions, on the part of men experienced in both fields, take place with regard to the doctrine of evolution, in as far as it inquires into the origin of the human body as coming from pre-existent and living matter - for the Catholic faith obliges us to hold that souls are immediately created by God. However, this must be done in such a way that the reasons for both opinions, that is, those favorable and those unfavorable to evolution, be weighed and judged with the necessary seriousness, moderation and measure, and provided that all are prepared to submit to the judgment of the Church, to whom Christ has given the mission of interpreting authentically the Sacred Scriptures and of defending the dogmas of faith.[11] Some however, rashly transgress this liberty of discussion, when they act as if the origin of the human body from pre-existing and living matter were already completely certain and proved by the facts which have been discovered up to now and by reasoning on those facts, and as if there were nothing in the sources of divine revelation which demands the greatest moderation and caution in this question."
