it is unfortunate that the racing is mostly like this and very rarely clean and tight, glad to see u back!! once i found out ELO is effected with hosted races i started signing up for more races where there is much higher standard of racing but yea sim grid obviously has brought in alot of new drivers, that may not be aware and/or inexperienced in actual racing etiquette. Ex. knowing where/when to wait for others to get back on track or not racing p1 when under blue flag.
I agree several bad luck incidents. But the guy that was a lap down. He did exactly as he should being predictable and didn't block or anything just help his line and the moment you showed your nose he let you through. I know that some of us just get out of the way when we are a lap down. But he has no obligation to move it's actually proper for him to hold his line and you find a way around safely. Just stuck me as odd the one instance that u said was the last straw was actually the proper way of racing so I don't get your outrage
@danielcase2189 I see it from what your saying but when I'm trying to keep ahead of 2nd place catching me, losing around 1 sexond you start to see things different lol, heat of the moment and all that.
The unsafe rejoin was just wrong. The back marker I totally agree with you, as someone who is not racing at the front of the field I’ve been in their position and I will always move over and just try to stay out of the faster drivers way. As a member of the sim grid community I read the comments on Discord about seasons and they are not positive.
I think simgrid seasons has a lot of problems that they just don't seem interested in addressing, the poor driving standards, lack of participation, and geared towards European drivers only are what keeps me away. One of my biggest gripes is the short 12min races with no quali, that's a disaster waiting to happen straight out of the gt7 playbook. It could be a good thing, but it seems like they have no interest in changing anything, sad.
Im just getting a sim wheel for Christmas and now I'm not sure. I hope everyone doesn't cry about everything like this. I'm just going to play offline I guess.
just learn the tracks, practice on open lobbys while you get confident and youll be fine.. AC 1 is a great place to start with loads of open lobbys where accidents are expected but is also on LFM for when you are ready for proper ranked racing.. also looks and feels great once set up through content manager
Hello mate. Rocket league twins here on 1 of my million accounts. It’s been so long! Lots of stuff go on with family and things. Hope do see you in a live stream soon. How you doing?
As they say, "Common sense is lacking in today's world, and in that, you can't cure stupid!" Yes accidents do happen, but they should at least have common sense, it's not a game, its based on real life simulation, therefore treat it as such. I don't drive on LFM, because the driving in the lower ranks, is terrible. So you are right to avoid Seasons, until the racing cleans up!
Long time no see mate, I've not been online for a couple of months now, got sick of it. Just play AC and ACC with ai and set my own challenges, zero stress ! May give public lobbies another go to see what it like. Imo public lobbies used to be great then the game got popular and it went bandy, sim grid is a joke.
Howdo Doris, hope things have calmed with the hounds now. Not been on simgrid for a while, looked at the quick races yesterday, 3, 4, 5 people in a race, not good, back to the public lobbies for some dust ups. Shame really. Good to see you back on YT fella.🙂 Yew
Sounds like you are looking for something called XCL. Shame you didn't want to give it the chances you gave simgrid. A good bonus is that the drivers who bothered you on the start are (I think) banned there. I will not shame their names here but recognised the team colours
I agree with your points but your examples are weak. The backmarker did everything right. The guy who hit you waited. I agree that the racing is poor. Ive been guilty of a few things myself but there is literally "nothing to see here" move along.
Weak boris very very weak. That's not going to help it any for one. But man your in first why cant you pass a guy that's in last... blue flags don't mean pull over like F1.. he had no obligation to get outta your way mate. It's not a perfect system but seeing videos like that certainly won't help

Hi Boris. Miss your Friday races. It was the best Friday's I ever had with sim racing. I learned a lot racing with you. 😊

@@SimRacerGump you can never please everyone to be honest, but the video wasn't to bash simgrid but to point out what I would like to see.
@Just_Boris All good, I think a lot of people would agree with you, the level of racing could definitely be better.
Nice video thanks. Hope all is well with you.👍
Oo keyboard commandos are here 😂
Dont scared just race!!

They don't all moan like me lol, thing is if you do get into sim racing and it takes hold then maybe look back at this and see what you think.
@@Just_Boris man, you have me crying. Subbed.

@ cool
Funny, I was considering giving this platform another chance since I can’t play with the LFM kids yet….

@klorpte789 never say never lol, I'm just working my way back in ACC after a few weeks out.
@@Just_Borispatiently waiting for EVO?
@klorpte789 not sure if we will get the content when it's first released but we will see.
