The floating citadel of great guns.
I highly recommend a turret traverse build in this ship which is the main problem. I managed to reduce traverse to 26 seconds (4,7sc rudder, 15.3sc reload) by kinkaid and madden and the ship is workable now. Btw sister is uss salt lake city.
Hopefully Spartan sees your build and makes a video. That would be sweet.

I have always had good luck with the Pensacola. Sure there were some growing pains with getting dev striked every now and then but to me its a great ship.
Pensacola is still my favorite tier V ship
Graf Spee is my fav but America does have awesome Rank V cruisers and probably the best cruiser line besides Germany for beginners.
I use Norman Scott with Mimbelli and (mind went blank) the British guy that reduces turret traverse and reload speed..I'm retarded.

I love the Pensacola but having a ship made of citadels is kinda not fun to play sometimes. Especially when I always get slapped by a Russian BB.

I think my Yorck does this too where it out turns the guns. That takes a minute to get used to. I havent gotten the Citadel-Cola yet, but will have it unlocked soon.
I'm working on the Pensacola now haha playing ai to not be citadelled amidiatly at the first encounter. Takes longer but saves alot of frustration.

Have to get that New Orleans for that Yammy, I was dieing on Pensacola tell I got to see this. Keep in mind I started with no upgrades. But once I upgraded the guns and saw this video it made a massive difference. Know it's an older video, but thanks again Spartan.

I love the Pensacola, it's my most played ship for most of the time I have played the game.
I love pensacola I can do some damage in this ship with AP I don’t use he unless I absolutely have to because the AP eats other cruisers and battleships health especially if they are broadside citadels for days

Some people don't give this ships HE credit tho it's HE is above average at 17 percent fire chance I love hiding behind islands or just shooting BBs around islands with the HE I love it and at 15.5 to 16 KM and high 60,000-70,000 thousand damage games

Alaska is a lot of fun, and super useful with it's radar if you play it right. Definitely worth the time to complete the bureau. It is definitely more of a choose your aggression moments ship, so forewarning there. I just finished the Oklahoma last night

We (I) need a "Path to Legendary" series that walks through those ships, pro's and con's, order to get them, which ones to avoid, etc. As a new player, it doesn't tell you crap about the ship, you just have to blindly sign up for a 6 month commitment to get it. I wish i could get out of the Shima Bureau and do the Yamato or Conquerer. But, my Kurfurst Bureau is at stage 8, so wont be much longer!!!
