    Paypal debit is crushing it right now! I'm mad it's not the master card, but I'll take it.

      You should get a PayPal Mastercard have you tried the no hard pull pre approval?

      @shawn.credit i have both cards. My only issue is that the 5% is not the CC. I would rather use a CC than a debit card.

    I'm confused by the points. It seems like there are other out there that have higher points rewards. For example, the Hilton Honors (just the base one) has 5x gas, 5x grocery, 5x dining, 3x other. Why isn't that one superior to the AMEX Gold?

    • @daniel.sparks
      @daniel.sparks  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The Hilton card may have higher multipliers, but Hilton points are worth about 0.5 cents each, while Amex Gold's Membership Rewards points are worth around 2 cents. So, the Gold card offers WAY better value

      @@daniel.sparks thank you. How can I find that on my own? It seems odd that they can say their points are higher but they aren't worth as much. Is it in the fine print or something?

      @@durtydeedsREI You're earning more points, but the points themselves are less valuable. Many blogs and websites, such as The Points Guy, assign value to points. The actual value depends on various factors, such as transfer partners.

    Sorry to hear about your Broncos. Commanders are having a hell of a season, thanks to our So-Cal born and raised QB.

      Commanders are the surprise of the season, I thought Bo might be able to catch Jayden for ROTY but looks like he has it locked down now. I think we will still make playoffs tho

    The 2% card you should try is the cash plus from navy federal

      It's okay to be content in the little leagues , we're getting much more value.

      I definitely understand the hesitation to get into annual fees, but if the credits fit into your lifestyle and you come out ahead, there's no reason to avoid them. I fly roughly 4-6 times a month for work / personal travel, and getting into a Centurion Lounge/Sky Club for a meal and a quiet place to do work or have my kids relax is worth its weight in gold.
      Add in the other credits that I use (Uber, streaming, Walmart+, FHR, and United Travel Bank), and I'm ahead roughly 1,800 - 2,000 per year. If / when I stop traveling so much, the card is 100% getting canceled, but it fits my lifestyle at the moment. I think this is where people get in trouble with annual fee cards. They adjust their lives to the credits instead of admitting the cards just aren't for them.

    • @daniel.sparks
      @daniel.sparks  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +8

      I literally only have one card with an annual fee and I did the math on camera why it makes sense

    • @anthonyjames4319
      @anthonyjames4319 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      That comment shows you don’t know much. Things worth having are rarely free. The fee is for the insane value you get. You either win the game or pay for others to play.

      @@anthonyjames4319 Truth! As long as you get value from the multipliers you're good. I don't care about credits. If the fee isn't covered by multipliers I don't get the card.
