1924 Wurlitzer 157 Band Organ From Luna Park, Coney Island

One of the few remaining relics from the long lost Luna Park is this fantastic Wurlitzer 157 band organ! Built in 1924, this played with the park's PTC carousel and was spared by the park's tragic fire thanks to the Shoot The Chutes water ride serving as a barrier between the carousel and the fire. The organ then moved between several carousels in Coney Island ending up at Feltman's restaurant during its final years in the 60's. It was then safely kept by an enthusiast awaiting restoration. Today, this rare instrument plays again prepared to entertain another generation just as it did nearly a century ago!
