The husband should take note ,for he is just like his father in law when it comes to his mother both of them should have already put both oftheir mothers in check when it came to their wives
I only watched the last 30 mins and the MIL was getting on my last nerve. How many times is this B going to barge into their bedroom? She can't talk to them like a rational person during the day? It's stupid. ML needs to change the locks on his door or if his mother lives there kick her out. At the very least establish clear boundaries!
All the moaning about these films not being dubbed into English, just go watch an English film instead 🤷 I enjoy watching these films in their original languages, I'm also learning different dialects albeit slowly, but there are always subtitles to use at the same time! Then again, I can multi task! Watching, reading AND learning 😂😆
Finally, someone else who gets it! Good to see I'm not the only 1 out here who has enough respect for the shows that they want it to stay it it's original language. I watch all non-English shows/films/etc in their original language, even though I don't speak the language I know that the writer(s)/cast/crew/etc made something in their own language and that should always be appreciated whenever possible. As a published author and occasional fan-fiction writer for over 40 of my nearly 55 yrs of life I tell my editor that I don't mind my work being translated (obviously) for the masses as it gets my writing a bigger audience ... but when I post up fan-fics I tell my readers point blank that if they want to fan-translate my work they need to consult me 1st or I will (and have at times) get their copies removed. It's disrespectful on all fronts - I worked hard to write my stuff in whatever language I've used so to alter it without my knowledge I just won't tolerate. At any rate, far as the shows ... my view is that if the writer(s)/etc wanted their work filmed in English they'd have made it in English from the get go. Since they didn't it's obvious that it's the posters who are mutilating these shows - and the worst of it all is that some shows they AI is so bad that what might have been a great show becomes completely unwatchable. They don't even give us halfway decent subs to make up for it. It's a far cry from the old days (and by that I mean the years between early 2000s up to round mid 2020s before Westerners realised that Asian series/films/mini-dramas/etc are so good), but in those days the posters still cared about we viewers ... sadly those days are now gone, we're just Yuan makers to them now :sigh: This part horrible AI/rest of show in the beauty of the Mandarin language has to stop, it's ruining everything IMO! :*(
they are lousy with the endings 2 seconds or cliff hangers seem to be the norm. That is why they can NEVER beat the WEST with their writing and directing.@susanhill2110
Why do these MIL’s have to bring so much drama? At least try to get the know the woman and get along with them first. It’s ridiculous whn the crazy hatred is based SOLELY on theynaren’t rich and powerful and not their actual character. Money comes and goes. Just because you are rich or poor today, doesn’t mean you always will be.
Sorry but I'm going to have to 100% disagree with those who want these shows in that horrible AI English, the original Mandarin is so much better to listen to than the same AI voice which sounds worse than nails on a chalkboard. I'm guessing that those of you that would rather have the AI voice never watch anime or only watch dubbed versions, or you have never watched pretty much any Xianxia films/series since none that I know of have ever been officially dubbed, although a few have been fan-dubbed but they never end up being good. The AI voice being used in these short dramas have zero expressiveness, it's more bland then a dry rice cracker which is saying a lot, and it never pronounces names/places/etc correctly. Add in the atrocious subtitles/English names you use many times, without hearing the original Mandarin makes it nearly impossible for those of us who have watched years of shows like these and learnt enough basic words/sentences that we don't have to always rely on the half-baked subs we're given, we can't get even a tiny gist of what's really going on in the show. Worse is that you even block out the Pinyin and/or Mandarin text on us, and many times by the time the show switches back to the original Mandarin it was filmed in it's almost too late to want to spend the time to figure out what's what and who's who. This awful trend of ruining the first 15 - 30+ minutes of what could be a good show needs to stop already. Seriously, you posters need to either pick a language and stick with it and at least try to give better subtitles that actually make sense. Things were a lot better before this desperate need to put out daily ULs of what's becoming a tiresome parade of umpteenth version of the same show. If this keeps up you'll end up losing half or more of your watchers who will go to people that have a lot more respect for their viewers, and who give us far better content than reused AI generated scripts that are copied word for word 75% of the time.
@@KathleenHarray Meant to reply to this much earlier but between the holiday and other stuff been side-tracked. If the AI was even partly decent I would consider watching something in English at least 1x, but only after seeing it first in its original languages. In general I watch all non-English shows in their original languages first because as an author I understand the inherent need to give my full respect to the writers, actors, and crew that created the work. The true irony of watching shows in Mandarin is that very few series/films actually use the voices of the original actors. Modern shows are becoming a bit better about this ... but nearly everything set in "ancient times" uses dubbing of other actors to replace the voices of the cast. Especially series/films shot in Hengdian Studios, nearly 90% of the actors are dubbed in post editing due to the fact that the Studio does their cast shoots during Visiting Hours most of the time so they have to dub out the voices to get rid of the background noises from visitor tour megaphones/crews that are often set building whilst shooting is going on/wind and rain days/etc. Shows set in modern times/mostly indoors are a bit better at using the real actors voices as the crew can contain the extra noises, but not always sadly. As most of the big name actors won't or can't return to re-dub an entire series/film using dubs which costs half the price and gets lesser known actors voices out to the public is the most viable way to do things, though some voices you just can't replace such as Rose Lusi, Yang, Esther Yu, etc. At any rate, this got way longer than I planned, and I'm heading off topic already so I apologise for that. Bottom line is that everyone will have their preferences naturally - no 1 way is better than another when watching. However I admit that I don't know enough spoken or written Mandarin to keep up, but rather than watch in English I really wish they'd give us decent subs - or offer 2 soundtrack options for those that want it and those that don't. At nearly 55 yrs old I'm not likely to fully learn Mandarin anytime soon, however today I was shocked to find out that I could actually read the words "3 years later" without even thinking about it ... then I realised I could read numbers 1 - 5 easily, and the words "years later" with that ... talk about a major accomplishment at my age! But anyway, unless they ditch the AI and give us real voices I will never accept dubbed copies, when I see a show that has it I'll scan ahead to see when it shifts back then go back to the start and watch with the sound muted until it changes. At this point the people putting these vids out obviously don't care at all about what we want, if they did then they'd stop putting out worse and worse versions of what was a good show, they don't bother to give us decent subs/dubs, and unlike the old days they don't even reply to their viewers anymore. Now that Westerners have shown the high demand for more and more content the posters only see the yuan that are brought in from YT's monetizing madness. The only upside is that they are at least pretty consistent in using the same "stable actors" over and over, so we get to see our favourites in so many versatile roles. I've seen older actors play a villainous dad in 1 show only to have him play a beloved dad in the very next show, or the hated ex-hubby becomes an adored older brother and so on. I just wish they'd stop taking down the older shows that were truly good and replacing them with dozens of badly hashed copies upon copies of the same stories. Ah well, maybe 1 day they'll bring back the shows I loved back in the early 2000s - mid 2020s, now those were the good days, I really miss the times when they actually cared about us! :(
today I watched a short Chinese drama And for the first time I saw the clothes they wear are a little up to date And their make up is very up to date. previously unsatisfactory..
Why is the evil Grandma so attached to this "granddaughter"? She's not even his daughter. Is she adopted? Why would you want to give everything to the adopted daughter and throw away Bio daughter? Without even bothering to get to know her first? I don't get why these dramas make everything seem like a decision has to be made right that second. They have years to work through their issues and come together as a family. Nothing has to be resolved in a day.
English dubbing is awful. Most cdramas are dubbed by other voice actors anyway even the mainstream one's . I prefer to read the subtitles instead of following out of sync dubbing, even if the subs are awful 😂. Everyone has their preferences 😊
Yes I only want to watch when English is used and why is there only a woman's voice why not use men's voice and if there is a child a child's voice too
What is wrong with poor people. Some of them work very hard. They are honest and good and kind and respectful and generous and helpful
Most! Most of them work hard.
Really true!
For mothers-in-law out there: Respect the choice of your children who they want to marry.
Correct
They really don’t believe the bad people should get punished. I don’t understand it. A concept of evil mean you can get away with anything.
The husband should take note ,for he is just like his father in law when it comes to his mother both of them should have already put both oftheir mothers in check when it came to their wives
What's wrong with the poor people? Atlest they have better attitude and good manners than rich people.
Love this kind of Drama no violence Fl.and Ml.good chemistry😊😊

Thought it was just me. English dubbing is awful
Listening to the original actors, you get all the emotions, and can tell better who's who. I much prefer subtitles to dubbing.
Is it me or are all Chinese dramas without proper endings.
they are lousy with the endings 2 seconds or cliff hangers seem to be the norm. That is why they can NEVER beat the WEST with their writing and directing.@susanhill2110
The dramas are complete, but whoever records them cuts part of them and does not give the ending. Horrible, why do they do that?
Nice movie 🎥
Hide your identity by showing up in a fancy car, wearing fancy clothese and bullying people
Where is the ending?
Please let me watch in English
Why did the dub cut out after 26 mins
I love this lovely actress FL❤
Very bad translation
Please used the correct word
Women - she or her
Men - he or his

Fire those who bullied the real CEO wife!
Ugh! Leaving with ur relatives is no that easy😢😢😢

I agree the English is poor but I don't understand mandarin so I have to disagree.

Do you think that Mandarin is the only language spoken in the world?
I don't understand how the fake CEO wife can continue pretending?
Please stop using him when referring to a woman. She is "her "
It's the language. They use a single word to refer. Much like the word they is nonspecific to gender.
I wonder why a married couple lives with parents & grandparents?
Yes the cruel grandma can move out!
Super unrealistic, how to endure bullying that dont know how to retaliate
Please give the original language and voice in the drama, it's not attractive
I want english speaking
today I watched a short Chinese drama And for the first time I saw the clothes they wear are a little up to date And their make up is very up to date. previously unsatisfactory..
Why are grandmothers are cruel in this video?
This drama teaches that Chinese grandparents are cruel inhuman beings. That is why their children and grandchildren are inhuman monsters.
Too much intrigue and discrimination of the Drama, it's not good
Example for young generation.
Not a fan of English dubbing. The emotions are not conveyed. Granted, the translation is quite good

English dubbing is awful. Most cdramas are dubbed by other voice actors anyway even the mainstream one's . I prefer to read the subtitles instead of following out of sync dubbing, even if the subs are awful 😂. Everyone has their preferences 😊
