Just for your information, if people whant to play the game with only the core box, there is an official formation called "spearhead" which let you play a mix of 50/50 Astartes/Solar Auxilia army (but no warhound). I've tried it with the scenario provided with it and it was a ton of fun.

Step 1: Buy the starter box to get the core of your army and the rules
