interesting concept, i like it, but i have a little sidenote here: win rates are not a great measurement for pilot skill in my opinion. they are influenced by a couple of factors in which the playerbase is not very homogeneous like: -which times you usually play at: the "weirder" the times the fewer real players you will face on average, and fighting bots is obviously way easier resulting in higher win rates -average plane equipment and quality of the plane: if you primarily fly specialised planes with 478 point parts and good pilots you are automatically going to have a greatly better win rate than someone who primarily flies with 100 point parts to unlock all the planes in the game. so people who use free xp to skip bad planes and spend tokens to transfer equipment from plane to plane area automatically going to have a better win rate -do you usually fly alone or as a duo: this one is obious enough i hope so again, i really like the video and the idea, but i had to point that out.
My approach to this is individual but fully agree with you, that's exactly how I approach when I evaluate players in my clan, and I noticed also that those with this high win percentage offten doesn't know that or they just ignore that facts. Nonetheless that's one of criteria for this videos , buy I approach to this individually so if there are two good players up against two good players and the difference between the win percentage is not significant then I give go ahead, thank you for your comment 👍
@@majorpain_26 In the NA servers, anyone with over 75% win ratio ... you will do well to assume they are good. There are different levels of " good". Pilot skill is one thing, yes, but in this game, strategy and tactical map management is vital. Being a good pilot is obviously good, but being strategically excellent is up there. If they are consistently placing in the top 20 in the weekly and monthly hall of fame results, they are good, with very very rare exceptions, if any. To me the ultimate test of being a master player of the game is being excellent in all plane types. That makes Major Pain, irrefutably, among the very very very best in the game. That is my goal. I go to the training room every single day, even though I use my own gold to be able to test different things, but I think training is super important for me. I have been in the game only one year, but my goal and my desire is to master all planes and develop as many skills as I can.
I love and hate this map at the same time. I love it because when I fly something with good altitude and speed characteristics (e.g. P-40 or Bf-109), I am able to intercept an enemy factory (killing enemy bombers and GA) and later possibly defend it. I hate it because there is an airport in the middle that acts as flypaper for bots and less experienced players. Our team won many times (because we had control over the factories)... but we had few points, and enemy players were farming huge amounts of them in the middle. While I understand bots, I don't understand how players can go there and expect a different result if the center is occupied by players better than them? PS Im bad with HFs. Plz more videos with low tier HFs. ;)
Many times the only tactic that is used, but not verbalized, is to occupy the central sector and defend it. They create a difference in points at the beginning that is not reduced, because we usually try to attack there a couple of times and we are shot down by the conjunction of ADAS and pilots who concentrate the fire of 2 or three planes on you. Then you go to the outer sectors and free them, but when you return to the perimeter of the central sector, and try to take down the outer ADA, but it is too late. Defeat!!!!! Gracias por el video MP ,siempre me ayuda a reflexionar sobre cambiar mi forma de abordar las batallas..
When I watch your videos I see that you're not playing low tier because you never have this missions daily missions not done on this tiers :) good work 👍
