Thank you for this as always, friend:) One of the things that I find so interesting about the Irish view of things is how completely mixed yet revered it is. Clearly you can see a deep agrarian animistic slant on things. It's a hard place to live, especially in long ago times, and having a healthy respect for the seasons and the practicalities of living in tune with the natural eb and flow was life or death. I think it may be the deeply engrained animistic view of things that allowed Catholicism to take such strong hold as it really leans into some of the more animistic idolatry and veneration of figures to near deity with special avatars and stand-ins representing these characters.
I agree with your ideology in this. Other examples include the works of Shakespeare and Dickens. The stories are dumbed down and/or fluffed up from the original so the whole point of original is finally lost. We can again use this caution when reading about historical events and second hand myths written down by the enemy, historians or "descendants" hundreds of years after. On imbolc, marking eras throughout the year, day, hour would have been different from the relatively modern calender. Planting but the moon, the farmers and sailors almanac can have some very interesting information in. Thank you again for expanding our knowledge. Beard wishes Arith.
I'm pretty sure "Still better than Rings of Power" has just become a meme at this point. "Oh, you got a root canal at the dentist? That sounds awful" - "Thtill better than Ringth of Power" Edit: Also, the last bit about the tradition of the Cailleach sounds like one of the European folk traditions that lives on in America in the form of Groundhog Day. Instead of a Cailleach it's a groundhog that determines if it's going to be a longer winter if it sees its shadow, but that's our dumb little Feb 2nd tradition
An interesting 'co-Incidence', Mr Arith Harger, is : The Folk of "The Orient" -- from millenia up to today -- celebrate the Lunar "New Year" in this Season... This year, by Thier reckoning, is another "year of the Snake". 🙂 Rick Bonner Pennsyltuck

I'm happy indeed. Can't complain. Given how things are going in the world, my life isn't that bad and at this point I'm calmer and enjoying the little and simpler things of life. All the best to you my friend. Forth Eorlingas!
i liked animation better before companies started cheeping out on it. ( around 15 years ago~People are forcing out cheap cgi crap just to have something to watch on netflix. Its a bit of a shame in my opinion.
It is such a good moment to see the first signs of spring at this time. And i can see them already for more than a week now. hazel in flower, new growt from some spring bulbs. I don't care if it is of pagan origin or not , the fact is here in West Belgium it is only celebrated NOW by pagans. Thanks for the video, good info as always.
Early signs of spring (where I live) include the return of the towhees, budding elms, and the first frogs beginning to croak in the marshes. After the frogs begin to croak, when the moon is waning, I know that I can safely transplant the bulbs in the yard.
Great analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

It's like the meme "still a better love story than Twilight". Although, admittedly, I didn't like Twilight and it's a terrible love story :x
Quelle belle vidéo j’ai adorée ! 😊 Un sujet que je ne connaissais pas, j’ai vraiment aimé le savoir, merci M. Arith

It’s pronounced “IMM-ulk” - the B is silent
LOL!
