Hi VMwareKB, I have a question, vmware tools from a newly installed vsphere 5.0 doesnt include vmware vshield driver right? I downloaded a vmwaretools installer with vshield driver from the site, but I dont know how to point the installer to my esxi hosts. how can i update the my esxi hosts to install the new vmware tools i downloaded to the VMs that I will be creating. THanks!

Typically, "Auto Start" refers to the ability to automatically start or power on virtual machines after a ESX host is powered on.
After the upgrade will the Host's retain their settings (i.e. IP, VMFS, hostname, etc)?
Our hosts are using a local SSL cert. Will this cause an issue when upgrading from ESXi 4.0 to 5.0?
