If people are worried about the build quality for cars but never wear helmet while driving a wheeler, for them I suggest buying a lorry/bus (these vehicles only provide best build quality).
1. Any car after 80km/hr speed cannot save you because of its build quality.
2. Build quality only matters for very small hits in traffic.
3. When purchasing the car you need to consider many other things like sustainability, maintainability, cost of service, mileage, pickup, resale etc.. (Build quality is just a Hype in social media)
No bro build quality matters high speed also these Tata Mahindra VW Toyota Skoda will save some passengers. I agree not all times but some times build quality will save you.
Maruthi is good with respect to mileage , maintainance & others. But with respect build quality it is not good. No need to compare to tata , mahindra and German brands. Even compared to renault & nissan the build quality of maruthi is very poor. Even at 60 km speed maruthi cars are not safe.. I recently saw direct small accident in city traffic where swift car hit the royal enfied bike from the back. Just at 40 KM speed. Half of the bike went inside the bonet of the swift car. Nothing happened to bike guy. But swift driver got major injury. Dont even think about 80 KM speed or high way for maruthi... maruti sells more car only because of commercial cab drivers. If you leave commercial vehicle like wagonr , ertiga , dzire.. etc then maruthi car sales are very less than other manufacturer.

Dnt pick automatic.... very lazy upto 40kmph speed... n mileage is 12 to 13.5 max ..in mixed condition... engine is same but AT 4SPEED TORQUE CONVERTOR gearbox is lazy eventhough reliable.. my car is ciaz alpha AT... i feel comfortable , smooth gear shiftings ...but not fun to drive like honda city n vw virtus amt...
