The original series that High school frenemy will be based on called School 2013, had the two male leads as the very center of the series. When this series came out there werent KBL’s going on and so the series was classified as bromance but I feel like if it came out today, then it could have been classified as a BL series. The cast of the original series School 2013 even knew what was up with the main leads back then 😂 If I recall correctly the cast had said things like ”oh there's no romance... except for those two" and ”they love each other” in regards to the main leads, when asked about their relationship. It seemed that the whole cast was in an agreement on this pov. So if people are getting the feeling like its a BL series, that is not suprising at all. The main lead actors even said back then that they mostly shares moments and had mostly only scenes with each other 🤣 School 2013 also had a close f/f friendship & some other things that i'm looking forward to seeing in this version though. I already noticed some of the original scenes in the official trailer as well which is nice. The cast for this shows is a amazing. Main leads Sky and Nani seem to have good chemistry based on what we have been able to see. Ever since the pilot trailer dropped and even more now after the official trailer dropped, people been trying to remind themselves and their BL brains to stop working even the official social media admin’s for the show🤣 Nani, Kay, View, AJ, JJ and Nueng being united after having all acted in Home School and this being kind of a reunion, is really nice to see. Mark’s character in High School frenemy and Chimon’s character in Home School are similar in the sense of that both characters are on the spektrum. Nueng having played a teacher in Home school and him now also being a teacher in the High School frenemy, lets just see if his character will be good or bad in this one😅 Est’s character in this series will be so different to what his main role/character will most likely be in GMMTV’s upcoming bl series Thame - Po, so it will be interesting seeing the contrast. I love seeing the twins in the same series cause both AJ and JJ are good actors. So many familiar faces are in this series even actor Tae who played the dad of Palm in Never let me go 🥹 and was in Kidnap the series, the dad that ordered the kidnapping of character Q because of his son ending up in prison. I’m most looking forward to the main leads story, Sky and Nani 💕 I like that in the official trailer they didnt show the most impactful, heart-wrenching and important scenes/dialogue that happens between these two. Overall I can’t wait to see how this series turns out overall and how all cast members will portraying their roles ect 😊 Personally I really love when actors/actresses get to play a role that is completely different to what they have done before and when they get to take on a more complex/challenging roles ect.
