4:35-5:14. That section....Words simply cannot do it justice. The sadness of the tortured and subued spirits. The betrayal of the soulbinder. The grandeur of Auchindoun..... It's so wonderful.
In the WoD overture it was my favourite section by far, and when I finally heard it in game in Auchindoun I was pretty moved.. glad I found it and came back to this fantastic game
I remember the first time I did this instance I was totally floored by the singing that starts at 13:36. It isn't like anything I've heard in WoW or anywhere else too. Epic track.
Despite WoD's shortcomings, I found the dungeons, while mostly irrelevant, to be greatly designed in both gameplay and atmosphere. Auchindoun is my favorite dungeon of all time because of presentation alone, with the Wrath heroics as a close second. I loved this place, and it's clear that everyone else does too. The music is spectacular, and it's sad that dungeon music didn't make it onto the soundtrack.
+Earthdemon1 totally true...so its even more bad that they lost relevance as soon as Highmaul came out, and you could just get gear from that..better gear in fact...but I loved the dungeons too, and I always love the dungeons more than raids in every dungeons....one of the reasons WoD failed for me so hard
+Earthdemon1 Finally they became relevant again with valor system and the possibility of getting 705 gear that can be turned into 715. Still, I would have preferred a slower paced progress and more more dungeons settings instead of just the same 8
+Earthdemon1 Sorry but this place comes quite far down on my list of dungeons I'd like to run through. While the music is quite good at some parts I'd say most other dungeons with a few exceptions are better than Auchindoun. That's just me though
The entire Aucindoun soundtrack (WoD Sountrack) is inexplicably beautiful. Even just now listening to it, after having heard it a dozen times in game, I am brought to tears. It simply captures the beauty and pain perfectly. In particular, the part at 13:30 onwards, which I like to think of a "Battle Hymn" of the Draenei, is extremely emotive. Ahhhh it's so amazing.
5:20 Black Temple right there.. love that blizzard added some TBC music with this expention aswel rly gives you the feeling of TBC only an a different Coth
I was never closer to quitting the game than with Warlords because the animations on my main were so horrific I couldn't play him. The cheery faces of my alts were nothing like the hardbitten heroes I'd come to know and love. It was the music brought me back (along with toggling off the new models!). I hope the composers were well-compensated; the music makes me love it all over again (especially Wolf at the Gates, Alliance garrison music).
Hah, after my first time running it a few weeks back I actually searched for "Auchindoun Music" and found nothing but old TBC stuff, it makes me happy to learn I am not the only one who found the music in this particular zone fantastic. :) Although one note, EVERY PIECE OF DRAENOR MUSIC IS AMAZING!!!
Me too! After watching this for the first time I was hooked on that song. Its beautiful and epic at the same time just like the dungeon itself. It fits perfectly.
That musical cue from 2:02-2:15 encapsulates so much of the draenei lore and overall vibe in Warlords of Draenor. Intertwined notes of sorrow, of hopelessness, yet with the slightest hint of the pride the draenei have for their people and culture. Complete earworm that caught my attention levelling in Shadowmoon Valley a couple of months ago and I finally found it last night after running a timewalking Auchindoun. Fantastic musical work.
This has to be my favorite WoD dungeon by far, then again I'm a massive fan of the Draenei and their sub-species like the Lightforged, Broken, and Lost Ones. Of course for those who didn't know the Draenei used to be called the Eredar and they controlled the entirety of their Homeworld, Argus in a near utopian civilizations that was very advanced in many fields. From magic, technology, culture, and religion to name a few things. Of course the two out of the three Eredar leaders betrayed their people all for the promise of more power.
I was absolutely amazing of how beautiful Auchindoun was pre-Outland. Kept thinking to myself if I was setting foot in what would become Mana Tombs - Shadow Labyrinth - Sethekk Halls or Auchenai crypts. The soundtrack as well, is unfathomably wonderful as well.
I remember when I first ran this instance. I was extremely taken in by everything I saw. Of course the other four players jusy ran straight for the barrier, but I stopped to look at the superb detail of the characters and enjoy the amazing music. I love everything about Auchindoun !
First time I was in this dungeon I stopped moving after a certain moment and was simply baffled and frozen because of the unbelievaly beauuuutiful music. The other 4 players kept fighting the enemies, and I was just hypnotized by the soundtrack.
I think that the woman singing is a draenei, and the chanting in her background are male draenei, until the orc part... It represents the whole situation
With Talador, best music ever made. Especially the segment beginning at 4:35... Just amazing and majestic as the Draenei are ! :') Proud my main is one of them !
I love this track so much just from the perspective of the Draenei. It really helps hammer home that middle-eastern influence in their culture. I also LOVE that Black Temple revisit at 5:22.
6:00 Illidan's theme. What's this doing in here? Demons taking over the dungeon? Teron'gor, who later became Teron Gorefiend that was part of Illidan's army, is the last boss but doesn't die? There's nothing I would love more than an Illidan plot in WoD!
At this point in time, Illidan would still be chilling in jail on this alternate universe's Azeroth. Unless you mean our Illidan, in which case if he truly isn't dead then I hope they save him for later.
They really remind me of the protoss from starcraft. Was funny in quest before that you have to get a pylon (not trying to spoil too much) and the quest name was: you must construct additional pylons. Which is an error message when your protoss army limit is reached
The vocals in 13:36 sound exactly like Diamanda Galas (if any of you guys here are familiar with avante garde) :) My absolute favourite music from the WoD dungeons!
THANK YOU for posting this!! Been trying to find this soundrack for a while. Any chance you have a track name for the part that starts around 13:13, though? I've gotten my guild members to stick around after they've downed Teron'Gor JUST for that specific piece, and they're all wanting to know what it is. Thanks!
04:36 - 05:20 (ish) reminds me SO MUCH of a classical piece, but I can't figure out which :( As soon as this bit played (while we were downing the first boss) it hit me that I knew this piece but where from???
13:12 I still think that this "harmony" between Draenic and Orcish is symbolic. Pretty much the only soundtrack, in the whole expansion, to make any sense or to sound good at all in my humble opinion.
Am i the only one who heard the black temple theme most of the time in this dungeon? And when i got to Teron'gor Illidan's final boss music played. It was very nostalgic.
4:35..am I the only one who thinks about Star Wars there? The scenes with Anakin and Amidala...doesn't it have a slightly similiar style? Oh and of course 13:13 onward..awesome.

Such a beautiful music! Anyone who knows the tracks name for this part of the music?
when i hear this in... SPOIIILERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
samara death (yrel sister) in shadowmoon valley was so intense.. i literaly cried lol.
Really sad to think of what happened to Auchindoun
Very much so :(
Team 13:35 VS team 4:30
+kemya ali Team 4:30 FTW
+kemya ali TEAM 13:35 FTW! It's the most epic theme i've ever heard in WoW!
+Michał Wołek 4:30 is the best :P thats all guys
+kemya ali Had to go with 13:35 It completely floors me! 4:30 gets a closed second tho
+kemya ali Ill be team 13:35 since there are so many bombastic orchestral themes like the other one already
I remember the first time I did this instance I was totally floored by the singing that starts at 13:36. It isn't like anything I've heard in WoW or anywhere else too. Epic track.
Song Name Eimear Noone - Malach
*****
Don't suppose you know the music that plays in skyreach? Can't find it anywhere.
It also play at the assault on karabor
Malach , also played during the escape of Shaz'gul and the battle of Karabor.
Watch Kingdom of Heaven sometime, you'll love the musical score if you like this.
13:13 is just so amazing... so unique
its orgasmic ........
+dugan dug eww.
perfect...

+Earthdemon1 Yeah, the design and the graphics of this expansion were awesome. The same goes for the music.
+Péter Lakatos They're not irrelevant now that you can get 725 gear from the mythic versions.
+Earthdemon1 Finally they became relevant again with valor system and the possibility of getting 705 gear that can be turned into 715.
Still, I would have preferred a slower paced progress and more more dungeons settings instead of just the same 8

13:37 -> Can't describe how epic this part sounds, always gives me the creeps!
Shananashaiha!

Because sometimes, video games OSTs are at the same level as some classical music masterpieces.
And the visuals!!
Since some years I'd better like to spend hours looking at Wow trailers than recent video clips on MTV :-/
Laura Manach Video Games OST are direct heirs of Movies OST, which are direct heirs of Operas.
I would recommend also the Assassin's Creed Rogue soundtrack.. Dunno anything about the game but the OST is pretty awesome IMHO
Final Fantasy OSTs are great too
That part from 4:36-5:20 is just so good i can't stop listening to it.
zadoestricks
5:20 Black Temple right there.. love that blizzard added some TBC music with this expention aswel rly gives you the feeling of TBC only an a different Coth
4:35 is magic.
4:35 thats why im here
I was never closer to quitting the game than with Warlords because the animations on my main were so horrific I couldn't play him. ironcrownz how do you turn off new models?
***** Go to your System settings menu, in the Advanced tab there is a checkbox you can uncheck to use the old character models.
Perais
ironcrownz I didn't know shitty graphics equaled "hardbitten"! 0_0
Blizzard's choir is stunning at all times. No matter what franchise, the choir is amazing.
Movement starting at 4:31 is really amazing.
Man when that segment starts up at the end of the one questline in shadowmoon valley on allliance? Along with the dialogue? The FUCKING TEARS.
*****
Yesh, that would be the death of Yrel's sister Samaara. It was teh_powerful!
Simply fucking epic
Mcommander23 Could you people stop using the word "fuck" to describe beautiful music? Bloody hell, it's annoying.
Mcommander23 It makes me cry every time...
omg most beautiful dungeon with the most beautiful soundtrack ever!
Hah, after my first time running it a few weeks back I actually searched for "Auchindoun Music" and found nothing but old TBC stuff, it makes me happy to learn I am not the only one who found the music in this particular zone fantastic. :)
Although one note, EVERY PIECE OF DRAENOR MUSIC IS AMAZING!!!
Except Gorgrond
Gorgrond sounds like a place without nice music. So it fits
this easily sits up along side invincible and lament of the highborne as the best music blizzard has ever made!
Do you mind if I added the first minute of the 'Nightsong' track? :) Makes me just as emotional as 'Arthas, my son' does. (Never played a Night elf)
Thank you, Wowmusicable! I've been searching 13:12 for so long! I love that part :P
Same here! That is my favorite part =)
Me too! After watching this for the first time I was hooked on that song. Its beautiful and epic at the same time just like the dungeon itself. It fits perfectly.
+Stubbornness Sha By the way the name of that track in particular is Malach :) pure awesomeness

Complete earworm that caught my attention levelling in Shadowmoon Valley a couple of months ago and I finally found it last night after running a timewalking Auchindoun.
Fantastic musical work.
Probably one of the most beautiful music in WoD so far (if not in WoW itself). Thank you very much for posting!
4:35 to 5:15 the best part!!!!!!!!!
+TheBlackWolfs JR totally fckn right!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has to be my favorite WoD dungeon by far, then again I'm a massive fan of the Draenei and their sub-species like the Lightforged, Broken, and Lost Ones. OH MY GOD, I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR 4:40 FOR HOURS, THANKS MAN.
Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor have such incredible sound tracks. Honestly the best in the entire industry IMO.
OH MY GOD 5:20 "SO COME THEN YOU HEROES. COME IN ALL YOUR POWER AND GLORY. FOR IN THE FINAL HOUR, ALL MUST SERVE, THE ONE, TRUE, KING."
Jakob Lindner 6:09 Black Temple.
Thanks a lot! :D Been looking for this everywhere!
I remember when I first ran this instance. I was extremely taken in by everything I saw. Of course the other four players jusy ran straight for the barrier, but I stopped to look at the superb detail of the characters and enjoy the amazing music. I love everything about Auchindoun !

Proud my main is one of them !
Gorgeous music as always! Thank you for the upload! ^^
I love this track so much just from the perspective of the Draenei. It really helps hammer home that middle-eastern influence in their culture.
I also LOVE that Black Temple revisit at 5:22.
Nyami and Teron'gor disliked this.
Burhan İzgin Now including Azzakel.
Skirdus now gul'dan
Now Azzakel , Teron'gor , Nyami , Protector Kaathar, Archimonde, Socrethar and Gorfiend
you can like or hate Wod but you have to love the soundtrack. so beautiful
7:13 Oh that is so Diablo I almost expected a guitar to pop up.
Thank you so much! It's my fav music with Iron Dock one!
My favourite instance so far, i hope they will make in 6.1 auchidoun-like raid.
4:20 That song make Auchindoun my favorite dungeon on this expansion.
This IS Warcraft for me! None of the current day BS we have. Draenei / Burning Legion lore was always the high points for me while playing.
Loveeeee this track! most epic I've heard in WoD so far
6:00 Illidan's theme. What's this doing in here? Demons taking over the dungeon? Teron'gor, who later became Teron Gorefiend that was part of Illidan's army, is the last boss but doesn't die?
There's nothing I would love more than an Illidan plot in WoD!
Well, he's dead.
Aaron Weir He's also half demon, maybe he just returned to the nether?
At this point in time, Illidan would still be chilling in jail on this alternate universe's Azeroth.
Unless you mean our Illidan, in which case if he truly isn't dead then I hope they save him for later.
Welp.
Legion is the next expansion. Wish granted!
13:12-15:32 best soundtrack in WoW imho
never heared such singing before in wow nad this is awesome !
They really remind me of the protoss from starcraft. Was funny in quest before that you have to get a pylon (not trying to spoil too much) and the quest name was: you must construct additional pylons. Which is an error message when your protoss army limit is reached

4:30 omg It's so beautiful.
The opening is enchanting. I love it.
Eimear Noone what have you done to my ear... This soundtrack has repeatedly playing in my mind.
THANK YOU for posting this!! Been trying to find this soundrack for a while. Any chance you have a track name for the part that starts around 13:13, though? I've gotten my guild members to stick around after they've downed Teron'Gor JUST for that specific piece, and they're all wanting to know what it is. Thanks!
It's called "Malach", I believe =)
Jolnir Heyer In the game files the name is Malach, but it sounds like some kind of chinese song =D
***** sounds more like indians imo. because it's draenei.
StriderSeiryuu Draenei not indians, i think they are space gypsy.
And Draeneis voice sounds like Russian =) With Chinese/Indian song
What is the original soundtrack after 14:26 called? I heard it in the trailer to WoD in a different version.
Cagatay Özyurt Type WoD OST- Malach. It's the last part of that ost
Thank you very much kind sir :)
Cagatay Özyurt np mate
Some of this music makes me feel like I'm watching The Prince of Egypt, it's just so fluid and amazing!
4:35 wow just think about how much the Draenei have lost in the original timeline and you are here to stop that from ever happening again..
Don't give up soulbinders Auchindoun must be protected
THis is why i'm Here :D 13:35
04:36 - 05:20 (ish) reminds me SO MUCH of a classical piece, but I can't figure out which :( As soon as this bit played (while we were downing the first boss) it hit me that I knew this piece but where from???
4:30 Gives me goosebumps :D
Makes me wish to go back to my Lightforge Dreanei Paladin; Im a Kaldorei Druid now.
Another beautiful piece. I love it!
4:35 - 5:15
40 secondes of epicness
14:50 EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
13:12 I still think that this "harmony" between Draenic and Orcish is symbolic. Pretty much the only soundtrack, in the whole expansion, to make any sense or to sound good at all in my humble opinion.
I love the epic parts of this soundtrack.
I feel both like the hero and, later, the brute!
The 13:40 is the best. I'd really love to know what that track is called.
OMG 4:35 so epppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppic!!!!!!!!! :)
I like the use of the Black Temple Music
YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!
From 13:37 ... just goosebumps, especially the choir. Especially at 13:44, epic but scary!
Part at 4:35 is my favorite song in WoW...apart from Invincible of course.
Does anyone know the name of the instrument they use at 4:46? It sounds otherwordly. Simply fantastic!
If you are referring to what chimes in softly to take over, thats Armenian doodook.
Why is that beautiful piece starting at around 4:20 not on the CD!!
Most of the music from WoD is not on the CD. =/
Try login music (siege of worlds i think) around 8:02
Fantastic music in this dungeon!
Never played WoD, but at 5:20 clearly starts the theme played in Black Temple, when fighting Reliquary of Souls.
GOOSEBUMPS
JonnyBeoulve Yes.
No horses were harmed during the production of this music
Yrel coming to HoTS! Really hope we get to hear some of this music along with BC Draenei music for her release!
4:35 my favored part !
magnificent, sacred, fantastic music ever in WOW ost
Does anyone here think that 0:00 1:23 is the best or is it just me
Edit: i meant 2:58
Muffinmom With the choir? Absolutely no question. My hairs stand on end every time.
One of the best undoubtedly.
my main is horde, but I do have a draenei shaman. there's something awesome about running this instance as a spacegoat =) my fav WoD instance by far.
By far the best soundtrack in a dungeon in WoW.
I can only agree!
13:48 Is my fav
Rathrak the Hallowed \m/
probably some of my favorite music from WoW
Tells a whole story in itself i love it
Favourite dungeon. Just for the music.
The music and arts departments perfected WoD. Probably the best soundtrack ever made for this game.
Damn I love the last part!
14:34 the most epic shit, then came the sound with trumpets = Goosebumps
Am i the only one who heard the black temple theme most of the time in this dungeon? And when i got to Teron'gor Illidan's final boss music played. It was very nostalgic.
The "you are not prepared" from TBC cinematic does indeed play
For me, my favorite bit is ALWAYS 4:34 through to 5:15
It sounds like Fran is singing that song at the end.
4:35 omg :O
ive been looking for this music for so long just for that! Them chills!
What is 13:10 to the end called? *_*
4:35-5:17 will be part of the movie trailer, guaranteed, heartbreakingly beautiful.
4:36
Most beautiful WoW soundtrack
Change my mind
13:36 - FANTASTIC!
Love 4:35
a melhor transição seria, 4:35 - a 13:11 eu amo, fico encantado e me faz lembranças boas de quando jogava wow
Minuto 13:10 la mejor parte !!
4:35..am I the only one who thinks about Star Wars there? The scenes with Anakin and Amidala...doesn't it have a slightly similiar style? Oh and of course 13:13 onward..awesome.
