As a promoter myself, it’s a fine line between having a course that challenges the top racers just enough and making a track too tough. It’s the most difficult thing to deal with. Sometimes, we have to do last minute changes but it’s not easy.

Great job getting this interview! He is 100% right on that a rock is just not good enough. They really do risk their lives for these races. This is why I buy merch when I can, but it shouldn't be how these guys make money.

Thank you Brandon. I love hearing the insight from the top riders and getting a glimpse of the personalities behind the goggles.

Great podcast! I think Mario is absolutely correct though, that the trail has to actually be rideable. The race is done ON the bike, not pushing the bike or being pulled up, or walked down.

Maybe they should be looking at the Enduro GP format. I don't mean the courses themselves but the management of logistics and race day

Yeah, I wonder if that's the way to go - instead of mass starts, single rider, like EnduroGP, or in rallying....

@Andy_ATB I believe so. The mass starts were all for TH-cam and insta. Nothing to do with real competition and proper timekeeping. It was all just a dog and pony show orchestrated by Red Bull for KTM's benefit. It was always a fraud.
