I want to thank you Hemi Muscle for this video. I was looking for this purple Hellcat, and I made the deal today, and I’m picking it up now. I wanted to say thanks for your great videos. That Dealership owes you one !!!
Thanks again, Mark
You're welcome, Congrats, bro. I'm glad you found the vehicle you wanted. That's why I make these videos 🤝💯
Mark, or Mark... UP??? LOL
Thanks Hemimuscle. You’re right, that car has been there for a while. It was selling for $115,00 in October 2023. They dropped it all the way down to $88,000 last week. I got lucky.
Thanks again for your great videos.
Are you serious?? You bought a lot rot hellcat for 88 thousand dollars? Your WILD bro
57k for an RT 5.7 is just being slapped in the face. They’re just laughing at you as you drive away too.
It's a daytona, same price as base scat. But $57 too high for BOTH
@MusicNotes-tk2fimid muffler delete and cold air intake with star light interior 😂
For sure !!!!LOL😂
In Atlanta I've seen RT selling for as low as 32,000. It's a manual of course, but power dollars really go a long way.
That's with a $1295 sunroof, and a DAYTONA upgrade of $5475, plus $1795 for the sound system upgrade. With 6% sales tax ( like my state of PA), that's $9,078.90 at least over the price of a base RT. So, subtract that from $57,115 and you're left with $48,036.10. BASE price on an RT Charger is $45,065 plus destination fee of $1,595 on all vehicles = $46,660 with no options. Still high, but you can't just say "$57K for an RT 5.7" because you have to account for options and destination fees.
I wouldn't pay 93 grand for a Charger Hellcat. I like your 300. It's really nice and a much better price.
I ain't paying 57K for a car with cloth seats. I would just buy used. You can find 23 300Cs with low mileage for that price.
😂😂..”I have yet to see a Hornet on the road”😂😂
Me either bro we got 6 dodge dealerships within 40 miles
We are witnessing Dodge destroy themselves right in front of our eyes….. What type of fools do they think people are? They’ve already finessed all the suckers that were dumb enough to fall for their inflated prices! 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤨
We are seeing Stallantis destroy Dodge hasn't been Dodge since FCA. This isn't Europe they dont understand the US Market nobody won'ts this electric shit!
The scat seats would be a deal breaker for me. I've seen 25k economy cars with a better looking interior
4 years ago you could get a widebody 392 for 57 easy maybe a little less
49k**
Hell end of 2019 i was trying to convince my Wife to trade in her paid off RT challenger for a wideboy challenger scst back a dealer had for $37k. . That was a steal, especially since back yhen wide bodies were even more rare. She told me she would pass because she didnt like the wine color. Ended up getting her RT wrapped then covid hit a few months later and sent the prices to the moon. . . She lost the best deal she could have probably ever gotten lol
Try 48 tops…
Even without the markups something no right with the pricing when an RT and scat are the same price 🤦🏾♂️💯💪🏾
Daytona and base scats are same price. Not a regular rt
60k R/T is nasty work that dealer need to be put out business for that ish.
I thought it was just me. I went to the Dodge dealership and I live in Texas and the prices were crazy.
I bought my 2023 RT DAYTONa about 5 weeks ago. Nicely equipped with 1) Octane Red $395, 2) Daytona Edition Group $5475 , 3) technology group $895 , 4)Navagation and Travel Group $ 995. Destination charge $1595. Total MSRP $54,420. I paid $47,232 ( plus tax , tags, dealer fees).Just with Dodge rebates and dealer insentives, I saved $7,619.28 ( incl tax). Fantastic car!
i mean, bad enough with the stupid markups, they're all LAST YEARS models!! 😂
I would've love to been a fly on the wall with that deal going from a SXT to a Hellcat.
That can stay where they at , ain’t worth the risk of repossession
I do like the looks of those cars. However, those cars are very dated, by very dated standards. And for what they are charging, there are way too many far better cars, from other manufactures to choose from.
Back in 2021 i paid $48k after tax for my Skat pack charger.. A year later i sold it and got my 2022 Hellcat WideBody Charger for $85k…Now $57k for an RT is ridicules 🤦🏽♂️
That price going to come down ones the electric ones drop
Those markups are ridiculous that much for a regular r/t .
Man you 300 is sweet like the blk on blk
A daytona is not a regular rt lol
@@OctonaBoyFresh you tweaking I have a charger daytona I know what it is, plus the response wasn’t even about that you made it about that GTFOH
Love you 300 it goes hard for a muscle luxury car
I wish Americans would getbon code and boycott all Mopar vehicles until they bring the prices back down to where they were in 2018-2019. There's no logical reason to price hike as much as they did besides greed.
They are doing us a favor by charging us msrp?
FUNNY THING IS THAT PURPLE JAILBREAK CAT IS SOMEONES CAR WHO TRADED IT IN. IT USED AND HAVE 35k Miles on it.
Funny thing is that it’s been the same vehicle for more than a decade now😂😂 Same technology and everything
good stuff is inside the show room out of the weather
Still not good enough these cars are still 30 to 40% higher than they was three four years ago.
It was Dodge drastically raising msrps 2021 to 2023 that pushed me to look elsewhere (And dont even get me going on the dealer BS) with markups .
These prices are sick. Even with 15% off, it sucks.
$57k is even too much for a scatpack lol.
Yeah, way too much
Y'all have to remember these cars are old . a lot of these cars are 2015 2016 platforms some slight updates a big motor and some wheels it's not worth it ......the market
Can get a 2015 Bentley Flying Spur used for less than that..
After three months when that oil change is due you might think differently. Those luxury cars come with luxury maintenance price tags.
It’s because eventually they’ll sale. If I could afford to sit on a bunch of Chargers and Challengers knowing this is it because it’s Stallantis EVs from here on. I would.
You want a V8 Mopar, no more is coming, this is it. So why do huge price cuts? Yeah people on TH-cam say cut prices but if in the same situation, would they? No.
Because we see it everywhere else. If a game is selling for $200 does anyone sell it for its original retail? No, they mark it up too.
Do people mark down their used Mopars to sell at a good value when everyone else marks them up? No, they mark them up too. You might have a few desperate to sell the car mark them down but the vast majority want the extra money as well.
That Plus Crazy Cat is nice
I want to upgrade my sxt to a rt but if those prices haven't come down by Sept then I'm moving on to something else.
Yall prices high Indiana and Michigan prices near me I find 392s for 32-40k and I find 2015 hellcats for 42 is lowest I seen and up
Dam slim. U right up the street. Thats the african guy that sold me my chally😅
2019 RT brand new for 30k
Right before covid.
He been there for over 10 years
Today went with my nephew and he bought a 2023 charger r/t black top msrp was 45k with dealer discount was 38k plus 6700 in rebate from dodge price went to 31k plus taxes and license fees, that is what this cars should cost and even then is pushing it, this was in Huntington Beach CA
Not bad, congrats to your nephew 👍🏾
These crazy prices are why I went with a Mustang. Got a 22 GT premium in February 2023 for like $45K. Probably could have negotiated a little more off it too. Really wanted to stick with mopar but momma didn’t raise no fool to pay huge markups. All in all I’ve really enjoyed the stang
“We can’t sell these cars, they are too expensive, let’s try jacking up the prices and that should get people to buy them.” Insanity
Just a few years ago u could get a nice luxury car for 60 grand smh stop buying
For a second, I thought I was watching an old video from 2020. I was seeing thing new and the gray cloth seeds in the scat
I got a Ram 1500 but it paid for for a minute now and I am keeping it to the wheels fall off
That's why they're still sitting on the lots
I also live in Maryland, They need to be 20% off MSRP>Cars are over a year old
I’ve seen one Hornet older lady at the car wash
Starting to thin out, no Scat Shaker Wide Body’s just a few grabs there.
I've seen one Hornet on the road. I do t think they are selling here either.
But they try to charge for freight when that’s in the MSRP
price increase on msrp wide body opts / one looks might find a pre price increase cars or no opt cars with big discount .... , but how long has these aged units been siting all summer and tru winter ?
For $57K for a RT???? U better off getting a IS500 FSport
That black RIT Daytona I think that was 57,000 because of the roof rap and it also had rims what's the Daytona strap on the back and I think the interior is red now if it was a base model and it was 5700😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 that's all I can do is cry
My guy said o my goodness I’m crying laugh 🤣 that to high for a RT
I have found 2023 300S V8 for 47K fully loaded..
I wanted to ask you if your mirrors power fold in
Imagine going to work every day thinking, "Yep. Today is gonna be the day somebody pays $200,000 over sticker! I can feel it!" And it never happens!
Happy Easter! Good video bro! 💯
Why would someone pay 60k+ for a Dodge product. Buy a damn M340i instead.
Why do we can have oil leaks lol 😂
BMW 🤣 they are 💩 reliable
@@blue-813 have u actually ever had one? lmao.
they arent unreliable pieces of junk as long as owners take care of them from the start.
most bmw owners neglect the proper maintenance those vehicles require.
we are passed the older BMW era.
@backs8189 cars are going to break down regardless of what kind it is BMW is known for putting 💩 parts in their cars once the Warranty is over it starts breaking down its a known fact buddy 🤣
@backs8189 BMW are also the worst car to work on 💀🤣
I've seen some hornets on the road but not many.
When he said the last day of the internal combustion engine. I would’ve been like it’s almost your last day with a job working for Dodge you know
😂
Give me a Shelby Gt500 over those car's and I'm very happy
This is why Chrysler and Dodge are going out of business! By the end of 2025 both will be gone!
57k for an R/T is insane
I’ve got access to a 7k 300c in black asking 50k
Thanks for the video!
Fully loaded 5.7 daytona's are the same price as a base scat with cloth seats
Nah. I had a choice of a base scat challenger with cloth seats or a newer daytona CHARGER fully loaded and I picked the daytona. Also understand that the daytona is tuned differently because of the mopar cold air intake from factory and upgraded differential it's a little more snappy and sounds better than a regular 5.7 rt.
Great content 🎉🎉
Thanks for the video
With those prices and markups, they are going to be up there for a huge minute bro Dodge is gone crazy greedy on top of discontinuing these great cars, SMH
they still trippin
The car for 2023 doesn’t even come standard safety features.. that’s a package that needs to be added. Amazing 45+K and a sonata has more safety features. Manufacturer has their head somewhere south.
They nice to look at but 15 miles to the gallon is crazy. 15 miles to the gallon ain't shit I'll use that just going to the grocery an work lol.
I went from no sxt straight to Hellcat but to be fair i have classic muscle cars so technically ive driven muscle cars just none that have had even 200hp because they're all stock🤣
I still say Dodge still want too much for these cars. Lol
I'm in the market for a new car, but I'm not buying anything from Dodge/Chrysler until they get back to their senses. They must not think very highly of us, their customers, to believe we shall pay these insane prices.
Funny thing is, you can buy the hottest car at the hottest car lots. You're still going to have to put a catch can in it or the engine will self-destruct from its own vapors😮.......
I wouldn’t recommend buying a new scat. And if I’m buying used I’m lookin for dodges on other car lots. When I went to the dodge dealerships I was looking at low quality cars at premium prices. They want 46k for a scat with cloth seats and no sunroof. I went to a Mitsubishi dealership got a 2020 Daytona 392 for 42 would’ve been 39 without taxes. Leather seats 5 year exclusionary extended warranty. You cannot deal wit dodge if you’re looking for a used scat. They’re putting a tax on used cars to soften the hit of the new cars sitting on the lot for multiple months and sometimes years. I live in Vegas and they was putting a $5000 “desert protection” fee. Mathematically it’s impossible to see a 37k car and taxes and fees take it to 46k. This is really false advertising.
idk what you expected the demon to go for lol
Welcome to canadian prices. 60 k for RT daytona is normal. Scat widebody 75 easy here
Maybe everyone shouldn’t buy the same cars it’s called supply & demand
They don’t have supply issues. There is zero demand for these cars anymore because of the ridiculous prices and even more ridiculous markups. There are dealerships with hundreds of V8 Chargers and Challengers they can’t sell.
@@parkercarter3917 exactly if they were affordable everyone would own one HENCE THE HIGHER DEMAND THE HGHER THE PRICE. You can’t charge 10 dollars for a rock because nobody wants it ppl and deman determine prices
They will be sitting there next year . And the year after that. Watch and see . Over price .
Daytona R/T is nothing but decals but its name carries weight in the MOPAR world. It would definitely be a good long term investment.
Not at that price or barely ever drive it and just keep it in the garage
Man they trippin hard there on them prices. That ish CRAZZZZY
Ain’t no way 🤦🏾♂️💸
Why is this still happening?! Cars SHOULD NOT be this damn expensive to buy!
57k ain't bad for a Scat Pack. For a 5.7 tho.....that's robbery.
That’s bad for both scats and 5.7s
This time next year, you'll be deciding which electric charger to buy 😂
Hell to the no the price still up don't know body want a v 6 for real now
Who's buying a Dodge for 60k? 🤨 They're wildin' for real.
Way overpriced. I own a 2019 Challenger GT in Go Mango. It's got navigation, blind spot monitoring, upgraded Alpine sound system (9 speakers) and bought it with 2300 on it for $28,000 five years ago.
The prices are why they are so plentiful on the lot and they will remain that way for the foreseeable future! Wake up Stellantis, you missed the mark! Always beware of any dealership that does not list the prices of their vehicles in the windows. That’s one of their ways of being dishonest with their prices.
They want 45k-50k for used 5.7 challenger rt's in south Mississippi
ALL THEM CARS UGLY AND THEY KNOW SOON U LEAVE THEIR PARKING LOT YO 57k CAR IS NOW ONLY WORTH 15k
Come on brother please stop calling it a RT. It’s a hemi 57. RT means road and track. Please look that up brother I’m old school. You have RT on the scat pack. You could have a RT on the Daytona. It means road track. Nice video.❤
5.7 RT To me, but I feel you 👍🏾
Why put yourself so damn deep in debt?
NOPE!
Don’t buy keep what u have till they lower the price
Them calipers are rusted AF on that Rt 😂😂😂
$100,000 MVA for a one trick pony Demon? Yeah, they smoking sherm, smh
Anyone who gets these cars dont have them very long
So a dealership that used to have markups no longer has markups and you would consider buying from them? In this scenario, you have learned nothing and they have learned nothing therefore, you are encouraging the trends to continue.
