Yes, I feel the same about my dad. I stayed with him in hospice the last night of his life. He had an IV in so I put my hand under his all night. That was 4 years ago and I miss him terribly. 🌹I think Roxanne will cherish the gift Mark gave her for the rest of her life. She caught on to how special it really is.

When we know someone really well, and learn what is important to them, it is easy to think of nice things for them.
My late wife loved picnics. But she became too disabled to go on them any more.
So one day, I made a picnic at home. I didn’t tell her what I was doing.
She was in bed most of the time, which made the planning a lot easier.
I prepared all of her favourite picnic foods, packed it into our picnic hamper.
I then went into the bedroom and placed a picnic blanket on her food table.
She sat up, and wondered why I had done something so strange.
I then brought in the picnic hamper, and started to lay out the picnic.
It made her so happy, because she got to enjoy a picnic again.
I did many other things too, often simple things, like buying her flowers, because I knew she liked them.
She really loved red carnations. ❤️

I’m sitting here bawling my eyes out. My mother died recently and I had not been able to see her for over 1 1/2 yrs. prior to her “crossing over.” I pray that the “hands” will give Rox and her mother great comfort during this pandemic time. Mark’s love for Rox is truly evident. Even when hacks and pranks have gotten out of hand, their love for each other remains. Thank God. Love this post. 💞
