My most Favourite Airlines is Not Ethiopian Airlines. It's Emirates and Singapore Airlines. I love Emirates' New cabin interiors that were unveiled on 777s on 2017 and A380s on 2020 respectively.

Here is my point of view. Ethiopian is NOT a great airline. Most reviews online are negative. Their economy class is awful but the business is fine like I said in this video. The food was fine the service very good but the plane was old and the movie selection not that great. On top of that the flight was late just like every single time I travel with them.

I not understanding some of the comments here taking ot way too personal. All businesses take criticism from their customers. If they can't hear criticism and learn from some of it, then in the end, they won't continue to do well. If i have a monopoly, then sure, my company can get away with not worry what customers may think. But if somone clelse comes to compete, then the business would lose out.
@@DaveMani yes. The operative term being "for now". Air Jamaica (bought out by Caribbean airlines which was formerly BWIA), had all the Caribbean market. There were issues, but they basically had a monopoly. When their was LIAT, we'd joke that L.I.A.T. stood for Leave Island Any Time. Cause the flights were always delayed. But guess what, now Caribbean Air has to compete with JetBlue! They have a larger fleet, and way more destinations, and in many ways, their service is better. So, if Caribbean people just take it personal when criticism is made, Caribbean Airlines won't be able to be competitive. As it was, after Air Jamaica was sold, another airline called "Fly Jamaica" was started. Many people took offense when criticism was made. Many issues were not resolved. And now where is Fly Jamaica? I took a flight with them August 2013. I think by end of 2014 they were gone. If Jetblue or American Airlines or Delta etc suddenly decides "you know, we want to get a foothold in Africa, we're seeing a market of "untapped" travelers", if people just go by "Ethiopia Air is OUR airline. And not listen to constructive criticism without being defensive, then you'll have another Fly Jamaica or Caribbean Airlinea on your hands🤷🏾♀️

Probably the best airline in Africa, in my humble opinion. Their local Ethiopian food served in business class on flights out of Addis is absolutely top notch. I had many very bad experiences with them where the seats were broken, flights are always late, bad food, etc. But like O said in this video about their Business Class, for the price, it's not perfect buy it's ok. Generally tho, Economy Class is bad!

I had difficulties to match the title of the video with the experience you had on this flight. One thing I notice here that I always notice when I fly Kenya Airways is that there is almost no privacy. When I sit in the front row of economy, I can still see right through the curtain into the business cabin, and you can really see everything going on in there. I imagine the other people in business can also see what each other is doing. I wish they had a shutter or some kind of mini wall in between the seats and aisle

I sadly had many bad experience on ET in Economy class on both the 777 and the 787. BUT the business class was overall nice. 👍🏼

Im not 100% but I can tell you that 75% of people do not wear them in the airport and same on the planes.

Probably the best airline in Africa, in my humble opinion. Their local Ethiopian food served in business class on flights out of Addis is absolutely top notch. On top of that their beautiful Ethiopian uniforms, a very unique touch most airlines do nothing about. Surprised by your "negative" experience.
Their business is ok but their economy is so bad that it does not make up for it. This is just my opinion.
Ethiopian Airlines always my #1 choice! Best pilots! New planes, lovely flight attendants. Over all better than most even western airlines.
Sadly they use the old broken planes to fly within Africa and the new ones to go to Europe. I always choose Qatar! 👍🏼

I appreciate your feedback. You know, the reason why I am so harsh with them IS BECAUSE of the fact that they always claim to be sooo good. I had many very bad experiences with them where the seats were broken, flights are always late, bad food, etc. But like O said in this video about their Business Class, for the price, it's not perfect buy it's ok. Generally tho, Economy Class is bad!

95% people love Ethiopian airlines. 5% people hate Ethiopian airlines. therefore Ethiopian should do their research why those 5% hate it and then improve its service further. Et all the way my best and favorite airlines. for me no other airline in Africa can compete with Ethiopian. and it is a good competitor with the ME3!!

All these comments defending Ethiopia airlines- I think their customer service sucks! When the borders closed due to Covid in Ghana- they gave me the biggest run around and wouldn't honor my voucher so I lost out on a ticket.

I had difficulties to match the title of the video with the experience you had on this flight. Then when reading comments and reply, i understood that it was mainly due to previous bad experiences on the same airlines. It could have been great to review each flight separately. At the end, I do agree that when tasting middle east airlines (you seems fan of Qatar Airways like me), it's difficult to be expect less..
I'm just staying true to myself. I don't like this airline very much and even tho this flight was fine at best it is still my least favorite airline.

Let me give u some advice as a person who traveles with Ethiopian airlines don't just book flights some flights are cheaper for a reason all airlines do this 🤣🤣🤣

One thing I notice here that I always notice when I fly Kenya Airways is that there is almost no privacy. When I sit in the front row of economy, I can still see right through the curtain into the business cabin, and you can really see everything going on in there. I imagine the other people in business can also see what each other is doing. I wish they had a shutter or some kind of mini wall in between the seats and aisle
