That's because all duck eggs take around 28 days 😀
On what day should you be able to notice veins and stuff. And is this day one from the time you found the first egg or when you out them in the incubator.
10 days is the average day you usually will start to see veins, at least for me it was. For your second questions a seven day period from when you find the first egg is when it is best to put them into the incubator at about 100 degrees ferenheight with about 70-80% humidity
My incubated eggs are 12 days old ..and I can see veins in the eggs but inside shells moves when the egg is moved ...r the eggs all ok .....should the embryo move or stay in a fixed position
Move. Staying fixed means it is stuck to the shell wall and can kill the chick
That's what happened to mine and it passed 😭 so upset
i found a duck egg near our backyard (on the cement) so i thought it was abandoned and i hoped it was alive so i checked by candling and there were no veins 😔
It was probably just fresh.

I need some help .. I feed muscovy ducks near my house and the night one of the little hens dissapeared the next day I saw a nest of eggs 4 were scattered outside of the nest and I found the mama's body a racoon got her so I wasn't about to let the racoon eat her eggs and I took them home .. I placed them on top of a heating pad and they were all fertile but now I think only a few are still thriving they should be hatching next week .. I just wanted to give them a chance at life could you give me tips on what I must do for when it gets closer to them hatching ?

@@Natasha-v6j sadly none of the eggs hatched .. I thing i made a lot of mistakes.and I would candle them a lot which probably didn't help .. I am going to buy a incubator just incase I need to save some babies again
@Anna Verano Don't worry if they did not hatch, you tried your best, next time it will be better cuz you will have a incubator, but let me give ya some tips, idk how the incubator will show you the temperature if is is on °F or °C but if is says °F the temperature must be at 99.5°F which is equivalent of 37.5°C ideak temperature for hatching, humidity if you are incubating chicken eggs the first 17the days humidity must be at 45% later at the 18the day you atop turning them and increase humidity to 60-65%

How to know if a chicken or duck egg are fertile? Im currently trying the 16 egg incubator. And im at 20days and when i candling its purely black is that normal or i cooked it?
hey, my call duck egg is day 28 now no pips, the other day i saw something push against the membrane but now it looks like more fluid and more random floating blobs that aren’t the baby duck and they duck is only now moving in one spot that i can see when i’m candling. It looks so week and there is so much room in the egg. Do u have an advice or do u think this duck is a goner?

Did it survive? I've heard that too much humidity early on in the incubation means not enough fluid evaporates so the baby duck can drown in the egg. Look into dry incubation

Hi, I know I'm a bit late but it's ok if it hasn't hatched by day 29. They can take a lot of time, as long as the egg has pipped, you know it's ok.

Yup it was dead idk why it died about 3 days before the hatching date :(

Alex M I was trying to say if you have nothing on Day 16 throw them out because they will explode and it mean they was not fertile
Oscar Beast I think you can throw them away around day 7 if you see nothing inside also eggs that aren’t fertile don’t explode 😂
Alex M when the eggs go bad they will explode and trust me I hatch eggs for a living

Guys I need help. All my muscovy duck eggs were doing so good on day 5, I only had 10 eggs in the incubator. Now only one looks good in the morning. Are they supposed to do that or do you think it was the incubator 😕😟

There are so many variables it's ridiculous...from there being parasites on the egg to the duckling drowning cos of too much fluid inside the egg...
@@lizxu322 yeah 😟. It's not hatching season anymore and I only hatched out one Muscovy duck and a Peking duck also. We let a mother hen raise them but they unfortunately died because we have larger animals on our farm, and they get stepped on on
@@iLikeDEERz you will have to segregate the baby animals from the larger animals for sure. A separate inclosure is necessary

I thought I'd heard bad music pairing before....I hadn't.
The spinning and quality is so vile but I'm just watching this bc I'm 11-12 days in on my first ever duck egg and the poor embryo died yesterday (i neglected to rotate it yesterday) but i did everything else
I'm going to try again but fuck man it's difficult bc i was getting highkey attached. I read a lot about hatching eggs so hopefully my next go will be successful
Edit: that is NOT what mine at 11-12 looked like but it was doing so well until the blood vessels disappeared and the blood ring appeared 😭😭 when i candle it, it looks like a small little worm or something,, god, i feel terrible because i clearly fucked it up somehow though i did research a lot
It's also very dark and in one spot (bc its dead) but i think it was stuck to the wall due to me being too scared to rotate it (i swear i read somewhere not to rotate it too much) so j was rotating a few times every other day
