It's a continuous theme that in any Trauma Center game, the final boss will always require the Healing Touch to beat. So don't use it until you know you have to or repeat.

i had a game where the final level is impossible unless you brew a speed potion a few levels back. and i stupidly had my save on the final level and it's impossible to brew them there. i was pissed. i never did beat it. didn't feel like doing the whole game over again.
