They do the eyes really well. Nanahoshi after her magic circle failed just straight up looking like she lost her soul and then the subsequent breakdown is done so well.
Man i feel for nanahoshi, it really poses a great Question: What if someone who was isekaid was happy in their old world and wanted to go back. Not something you find often, rudy and ainz had NOTHING to return to. She does
One thing people noted was that Nanahoshi represents old school isekai where the objective is to go back home while Rudeus represents new age isekai where the objective is to build a new life.
I think most normal people would prefer to go back to their original world just simply because aside of family, the culture, language and commodities would be sorely missed, hell even the most simple thing like food. This is one of the things most isekai get right because the mofos literally cry everytime they find rice exist in those worlds that got tped into.
@@seifeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee don't say normal because that is disrespectful to the people that have to change their lives every few years. Such as military people and immigrants. A lot of them have no choice but to up and leave their homes or places they established and change everything completely. Sure some can go back eventually but some can't. There was actually a time before modern-day work that people would go where work was and not stay in one place for too long. That used to be normal to many. It is only recently that people have been staying in place.
I am just waiting for an isekai where the summoned hero is not happy with being kidnapped. Even more so if the spell only works one way. Far to often is the protagonist ok with leaving the old life behind.

Kinda interesting that Mushoku Tensei, while being the progenitor of modern Isekai had Nanahoshi be reminiscent of older Isekai shows. With a main character being placed a dangerous world and who's only goal is to go back.
I feel she also represents how a regular human (although she seems to be on the more intelligent side, by her knowledge or atleast application on circuits to magic circles and other scientific theory she was crafting her prototypes with) would feel in a fantastical world full of magic and demons while being transported with nothing but your previous knowledge, and somehow immunity to certain effects (orsteds curse)

Mushoku Tensei's formula for using Summons & Magic Circles was so interesting this episode. I liked the idea that Spells are like Circuitry to a Computer & Soldering different spells together can make one Big Spell work. 🧏🏿♂️🙆🏻♀️
Mann Mushoku Tensei's characters are what make it I swear. Nanahoshi is such an interesting character with her circumstances and her breakdown was such a heavy moment it was actually hard to watch. This is why it's my favorite anime man 😭
About Cliff thinking cursed people and magic items are similar? Isnt that exactly how the curse got tranfered to Ruijerd? Through a curse being put onto the spears then given to them?
I didn't feel like the anime left any ambiguity about the meaning of Nanahoshi's dagger or Rudeus' reaction to it. The visuals and the callbacks (for example, to the last scene where we saw *Rudeus* with a similar-looking dagger) seemed to make it *very* clear what was going on to both Rudeus and the audience. And if we couldn't read his facial expressions enough to grasp how much it affected Rudeus, there was Julie and Zanoba both commenting on how they'd never seen him look like that before even while he was trying to look normal again (again, similar to Soldat seeing through his fake smiles back at the start of the season). The ties between Nanahosi's isolation and depression and Rudeus' from his previous life also seemed clear, if more subtle. On a slightly related note, is there any way for Rudeus to *not* associate Nanahoshi with terror, death, and dark thoughts? She was the last voice he heard when Orsted almost killed him, and the last person he saw and heard when he actually *did* die back at the beginning.
I really hope the show doesn't get cancelled or hiatus'd before the real action comes up. Oldeus, Rudeus v Orsted pt 2....there's so many hype moments coming.
Im very happy for Nanahoshi, i'm glad she managed to finally get progress, i just wish the anime had more time to show how Rudy was really caring for her, even her thanks to him was kinda rushed, and so was the party, i mean, i understand why, but still...i would love to see more

Wtf are you talking about "If?!?!?" I ALWAYS enjoy your content. Fiercely and joyously.
I still find it funny that every other student looks at Rudy's gang like the Elite 4 in Pokémon.
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS HEARTWARMING EPISODE
About Cliff thinking cursed people and magic items are similar? Isnt that exactly how the curse got tranfered to Ruijerd? Through a curse being put onto the spears then given to them?
I also wasn’t confused with how people knew what they knew and offered to help, because the anime already explained they were doing that.
Lol when i first scroll through the thumbnail i thought it would be mana circle lol
Check out Isekai Monster: Trying to be a Hero, When Back Home you where called a Monster
LORD OF THE MYSTERIES MENTIONNED LET'S GOOO!!!!
I wonder if the "shounen action anime in the background" would be enough to cover a half-season side story anime.
Great video bro.
BRO FINALLY MENTIONED LOT!!!!!
The demonic six storyline would have been amazing
I really hope the show doesn't get cancelled or hiatus'd before the real action comes up. Oldeus, Rudeus v Orsted pt 2....there's so many hype moments coming.
That house is HUGE, there is zero reason he shouldn't of put them a little bit away and they'd never hear any of the "nightly activities" lol
Was waiting for this.
Im very happy for Nanahoshi, i'm glad she managed to finally get progress, i just wish the anime had more time to show how Rudy was really caring for her, even her thanks to him was kinda rushed, and so was the party, i mean, i understand why, but still...i would love to see more
Is a good sign when you just started an anime, manga or novel and someone like AniNews talks about it😊.
Also can you do a video on the light novel "Shadow Slave"? Its an amazing story that has so much lore and mystery that I'm shocked your channel hasn't covered it yet.....its by GuiltyTree
5:44 had me laughing so hard i wasn't expecting the next sentence🤣
