When showing the 1909 restoration, you said "overall it's not bad" just as I was thinking: whoa that looks so professional and cool! Thanks for sharing, they're great 💕
Melissa, thank you so much for sharing your tins! A tin lover here! 🥰🤗 They all are wonderful & I have a couple of your designs for my favourite RWS decks! Thank you for creating them & sharing them so generously with the community. Like you, I adore the CS tarot & the plastic version of it makes me so happy! I also love your tin for the Albano-Waite! So nicely designed!
My skills are super rudimentary...back last March, I pretty much decided to teach myself some Photoshop. I've learned just enough to be dangerous...I'm definitely not proficient on that software.
Yeah? I keep going back and forth on it. It looks a lot better in the original file where I color matched the gold of the cards. But MPC prints everything darker and cooler than originals, so it ended up almost an olive green. I don't *hate* it...but I also don't feel proud of it.
Are your designs available on Make Playing Cards, or at another location on the Web? I might consider picking up your design for the 1909 ART RESTORATION DECK. I'm eagerly awaiting the shipment of that deck, and I love your tin design. I might also look at doing something like this for the PULP OF TAROT. However, it would probably have to be a rigid cardboard box, as I don't think a standard tin would be deep enough. Once the cards from the expansion packs are added to the base deck, the PULP OF TAROT will end up being around 130 cards.
Because I got busy. I started the channel in the pandemic when I was living alone and my job as a high school teacher pretty much went to nothing (we were told to give the students no more than 15 minutes of work a day and to suspend grades). Then I got a housemate, started two different graduate programs simultaneously, and took on three part time jobs in addition to teaching full time. And then I got cancer on top of all of those other things. I'm better now, the housemate's gone, I've jettisoned two jobs, and finished one grad program...so maybe I'll do more content here again at some point.

Aw! I really appreciate that! My photoshop and design skills are very much beginner level, but I'm pretty proud of what I've been able to accomplish.

Thank you so much, Mascha! I was so pleased about the Albano tin...I think if Frankie Albano were around today, he'd give it his stamp of approval.
@@melissazupan6026 Oh, I have no doubt he would! 💜
These are fantastic! I am getting ready to make another tin order, but I do not have your Photoshop skills! 😍

I like the border on the Golden Rider.

Why did you stop creating content?
