Yes! I was wearing pads… fully padded. Doc said that if it weren’t for the pads I would have had a complete knee replacement. Everything else is fine under the knee. The pressure made my patella explode into 20 pieces. 😆

can't wait for opening day summer 2023! any idea when that is yet? last time i visited snow summit most of my runs were on miracle mile and west ridge, but that was snowboarding not MTB

After that road gap right in the intro... did you bail mainly because you felt there was nowhere to direct your bike and stay on it without hitting the other rider?
