I've just had this bike delivered to me 😂 can't believe I dropped on the videos for it!! Any info on it you can give me bud be really appreciated. But tall for me, I'm defintiely going have to lower it, the rear end need an undertray for the seat / battery section, did you say it was a gsxr 1000 k4?
Yes it needs an undertray. Rear end is gsxr k4/k5. I spent enough on it myself to get it to a point for sale. Was never a show build. I think its resonable though.
@@Supercarlsunday it's a good bike, can't believe I dropped on the vids, fancied a streetfighter, this popped up, I bought it in my opinion at the right price. Not ridden it yet ( snow ) give it a good service and away we go. Cheers for the info on the rear section, wanna get that sorted
I run them in to the air inlets. And its running great till 130Km/h after that bogging gap. And top end lives again. Maybe i need to tune the carbs? Carbs ar cleaned 5 times, synchronization perfect. Dont know what to do else.
@@SarasTikraRida I havent given mine a proper run out yet. Mine has a bigger pipe strait through and cut down end can. It depends if its getting more or less 🤔.. could be a vortex in the inlets at a certain speed or to much or to little air. You could experiment with length /sizes of pipe and openings.. Also rejeting..
I am doing a project like this but having trouble with the aor intake i have dont know if I should block them off or leave them open as it loses power and advice thanks
@robertfranks2185 I see, well you could make some restrictors. Restrict the air going in slightly then fine tune on the jets if needed. A lot of people don't like to touch carbs though because its out there comfort zone. Is it a zx6r your doing the same as the one I did?
@@robertfranks2185 I never had any problems with mine. It may have been upjetted. It might not be getting enough air as it is possibly designed to work like ram air system coming through the fairing ducts then pushing it down in to the air box. You need to look at the plugs. Taking it to someone with a dyno would be your best bet.
Looks nice mate great job 👍
Thanks, a little more to do yet but certainly getting there 😀 👍

@@johnashmore8447 Its a pity your not taller because it sits really well.
Lowered it now, and it still sits really well to be fair
Thats good. Glad your happy with it 👍
Which seat did you use with the gsxr tail unit ? Thanks
Mate you're doing your bike pretty much exactly the same as mine 😂😂. Habe you got a link to your front visor and rear mud guard please
You mean your doing yours like mine lol.. I made the visor pal. I bought the rear mud guard off a mate.
Hi. Nice build. What you did whit carb vent tubes? Cause i have similar project. And having issue's with those tubes.

I don't know what part your planning on blocking off. If its getting More air give it more fuel. You can always go up on the jets.
@@Supercarlsunday I have just read I need to mod the air box because there is too much air going in

@@Supercarlsunday yes it losses power now I know why what size tube did you use and thanks for the help spent hours trying to sort it
