Thanks for the review and good info, Brian. As always, well done and much appreciated.
One comment about the wire bobbin threaders especially in light of Dr. Slick's decision to go with the glass inserts in the bobbins. Wire scratches the glass over time. I've had ceramic-tipped bobbins ruined by using the wire threaders in the past. I now use the far more inexpensive and infinitely more glass-friendly dental floss under-bridge and braces threaders from Walmart. Not promoting Walmart by any stretch but a word to the wise about using wire with glass.
Again, my friends, thanks for all you do for the sport and for us fly-fishing addicts.

instead of a bobbin threader try sucking the thread through the bobbin. works everytime! no tool needed!
