Ok but once dudes start drawing two or 3 times in a row, the stuff has to stop. We don’t got all day and the shit is boring. I play to have fun. I respect the 1v1 during the round but there is limit to how many rounds I will tolerate it if there are successive draws.

The grievous gameplay was painful. I doubt he’d have won. He didn’t dodge a single time and spammed his abilities and attack. He held block when Luke would dash attack. This would’ve been far easier for our poster if his teammate was good. But he’s a new player and will get better as he progresses.

There is no 1v1 mode so most duellers go into showdown hoping to find honorable and respectful players. Unfortunitely most of the time you either wait around forever or get asshats who dont know what a 1v1 is. Please, please, make a 1v1 sabers only mode one day. This game is so frustrating with blasters in every mode and no option for duels. Also no private match options. Of course everyone is frustrated and confused about how to play because it lacks modes that are very much wanted in the community. At least you can glitch the server to play against your friends in Showdown.
Honorable?, its a videogame with a 2v2 gamemode unfortunately you cant tell everybody who has the to play by ur rules, I like 1v1s 2v2s, 1v2s etc different scenarios make you a better player, more often than not its the 1v1 only people who struggle the most in hvv.
I've actually had matches where people like to 1v1 in Hvv. Its a super fun way to play the mode if it happens 😀. You don't have to wait around forever like in showdown.

Honestly, I think it is SO much fun when it is played like a 2v2 mode. 1v1s in battlefront are like this: Hold block until your enemy does something. Once they do something, swing. That's pretty much it. 2v2's actually add skill in to it because of target switching and other factors like that. Read the description of the mode. If you were a good player you would know that dueling in battlefront has far more depth than meets the eye. There are so many ability combos, tricks and moves to do (e.g. hook swings). Also, 2v2 is basically a lightsaber hero holding block and protecting the blaster hero while he shoots the enemies down from afar. I dont see any skill to that, especially since the dark side has WAY better synergies for a 2v2 - you can just camp with phasma at her droid and have kylo protect you, or play with vader and palpatine (i dont need to explain why this is broken af). And when the mode was made the lightsaber combat was completely different to what is today. Finally, how can you say that 1v1s dont show skill when ANY player who wants to test his skills challenges people of similar capabilities to a 1v1???

I had to turn off the score for heroes vs villains. Win or lose, I just want to roleplay. Having a score board makes me nervous and competitive; which then leads to frustration because I have to win lol. Turning it off helped tremendously

The blaster heroes are easier to kill though as they can block, you just gave to defend whilst closing the gap. I always pick maul for first round incase of blasters so I can make quick job of them 👍

Had a couple people flash the light saber for a 1v1 and then as soon as they get the chance drag me off the teammate or try throw me off level it's so brain dead 😂

It's called a hook swing and people do it a lot
I keeps you in the air for a lil bit longer when your making long jumps but it just be satisfying to do aswell😂😂
It actually does a little boost in the air and u can make longer jumps

Honestly I understand double teaming a vader. A decent player using vader is just way too op for a 1v1 to be considered fair.

The blaster heroes are easier to kill though as they can block, you just gave to defend whilst closing the gap. I always pick maul for first round incase of blasters so I can make quick job of them 👍
