UK Stella Artois isn't a proper Belgian beer. Brewed in England and tastes like dishwater. The Stella that they drink in Belgium is probably better. Although most Belgian people don't drink Stella as there's thousands of better Belgian beers. Leffe is decent, but again there's countless better Belgian ales in that style. I agree that this guy was definitely clueless too pick Amstel over Leffe though.
