Killing Floor 2: HoE 6P Containment Station Gunslinger DTF_V1 w/64max Waves 8/10 w/Hans

- We cleared DTF_V1 on containment station with 64 max zeds. The later waves 8-10 got pretty hectic for me. I was holding the back as the only gunslinger with the aid of a commando and medic. I owe them for saving me and the lane countless times, I'd be dead if it weren't for the constant zed extensions and buffs. As for containment station, it's an extremely linear straightforward map. Kind of boring in perspective because there are only 2 main lanes players can hold from. Our perk set up was, 3 gunslingers, 1 sharpshooter, 1 commando, and a medic. 2 gunslingers hold the front line with the sharpshooter, while the rest defend the back. Thanks for watching and enjoy.

I'm curious Mr. Cat do you think not being able to animation cancel will impact being able to do these runs? Do you think the change is beneficial to the gameplay?
Yeah, the removal of the reload canceling painfully impacts gameplay harshly. It was once an integral part of the game. It increased the skill ceiling of many perks. It was the only mechanic that gave shooting any type of depth with it gone, everything just feels sluggish. As for the runs yeah, regrettably so. Not being able to cancel effects everyones playstyle. Killing Floor at the moment just doesn't feel the same ever since the update. It makes me wonder what the hell Tripwire was thinking when they released it.
Yeah that figures, good to hear the same opinion from someone much more experienced in the game though. It really was a questionable choice, along with the weird unsatisfying robots. Really what is this update.
Why on earth did the medic use acidic rounds? That was painful.

man i moved my steam games to another hard disk and lost all settings for mouse ...when i play GS now i feel like the weapon move fast and pop alot ... i remember i lower my mouse senstivity but there is another thing i should change in .INI files but cant remember which is ... can u plz send me the mouse set up u sent me before for my GS?

Will you ever do solo vids again, or are there not really any more challenges to be completed? You did get around.
Personally Id like to see some high class support gameplay, as it is my preferred class. Love that 6man hof stuff, would be a joy to see you on endless mode and see how far u could get.

Btw, there's some ninja patching in the beta as well. Reload-melee canceling and parry-meleeing cancel are now gone. At least from what I have been trying.
daishi3050 you can still reload cancel. You just gotta do it the old fashioned way: Reload, Hold fire, tap bash. Should work fine.
If you hold bash for too long you'll fire 1 round and then do the bash animation, time it too early and you'll bash and not reload your gun.

without mods the max amount of zeds that can be spawned at once is 32
Very nice we beat 65mm last week, we had a slightly different set up though.
We had 2 gunslingers where you are pushed right up to the end of the hallways to take large zeds away from the other side (basically where you are sat at 5:02 is where we tried to hold), commando holding the room behind you - if he got FP's 1 GS would go and assist.
Other side was Support* SS and GS who would get less zeds due to them being agros to the otherside because we were more pushed up. I think this worked well because you have more space to back up.

@psych0Gamers The melee+fire Reload cancellation is gone now :(
It appears you can still do somewhat of a reload cancellation by quickly switching to another weapon and back to the previous. I'm not sure it saves the same amount of time that melee+fire did though.

Yo, what's the reasoning for taking Steady? Isn't Quickdraw better?
I only use Steady just for entertainment purposes and enjoy a slight challenge. That, and no body in the CD circle I play in uses it. I like having a unique play style even if it is impractical. As for Steady VS Quickdraw, always pick Quickdraw. Quickdraw is just overall better. With faster weapon swap speed, and reduced weapon recoil Steady just can't compete no matter how skilled you are.

Whats the best way to get things to 25? I almost exclusively play solo but after level 10 it feels like a slog to get xp
Dane I recommend endless, as you have a boss giving you 3k XP every 5 waves

Felipe Betanzo one of the lvl 25 skills lets u shoot and reload in real time. I believe the other gives u unlimited ammo during zed time, which is probably what u have equipped

10 waves but you can only reload when every single gun in your inventory is empty (without purposely wasting bullets in downtime), and you must reload every gun.

River van Blerk thousands of hours baby. Fleshpounds have very predictable attacks and a very predictable rage animation, once you learn them you too can head track like fat cat here.
