Hey! You have good notion of vehicle modeling. If you want to make your life easier and improve your vehicle models quality I recommend you to model everything in one fluent mesh and after you have the main shell start adding the panel cuts for the doors and bumpers. If you do it this way you will achieve much nicer surfaces and reflections
I really would love to but maybe in the future the model am working on currently has lots of details and it would take time recording it step by step with voice ( and my voice is not that sound) 🙂

Really! but there is no much difference doing it that way, because I also duplicated vertices from the previous mesh, then separate it.
